  1. Looking forward to this. I just completed mine. I highly recommend the Eduards masks for the turret and cockpit clear parts George
  2. Sent you a message Andre
  3. See if you can find more shots like this. It seems the one constant is around the cockpit
  4. Decal sheets for the F-6D though I don't know the availability... http://mikegrantdecals.com/shop/product/p-51-mustangs-part-1/ https://web.ipmsusa3.org/content/p-51f-6-pacific-mustang-decals http://sklep.kagero.pl/1-48-pacific-mustangs-part-1.html
  5. Quickboost does a conversion...http://umm-usa.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?products_id=4300&osCsid=2co9gc41oviu6lukcjpualhdr0
  6. Welcome to the site. Well done on the Corsair. George
  7. Great looking cockpit innards. I really like the looks of the harnesses as well
  8. Great subject. I did mine before the Airfix kit came out. Just to add some interest, I lightly dry brushed some day fighter camo colours on areas that would have had some wear (at least I think the black was painted directly over the normal camouflage)
  9. Love it.....I have the Airfix kit as well, to be built as the OTU option to go along with my stripe-nosed JZ•E/AR213. The only issue I've heard is regarding the attachment points of the landing gear
  10. Turned out very nice. The early ICM kits certainly had some issues. My Mk.VIII was short shot on the right fuselage half. A quick note to ICM and in no time I was sent not only the fuselage but the entire tree it was attached to. Quality service by ICM
  11. If you have a printer and can get some clear inkjet decal paper, download the "alte din 1451 mittelschrift font" from here...https://www.1001fonts.com/alte-din-1451-mittelschrift-font.html It's a Luftwaffe font. Another Luftwaffe font is "Blockschrift für Flugzeuge" from here...https://www.dafont.com/blockschrift-fur-fl.font I use Inkscape or Gimp 2 graphics editors (free to download) to set up what I want to print as they won't show the pixels
  12. Thanks for the quick reply and I agree, they worked better than expected. What I did to prevent bleed under was to 1) thin the paint to 50/50, 2) drop the air pressure to about 15psi, 3) start to spray on the mask and aim toward the center of the section I was painting, running the airbrush along the whole mask, 4) finish off the section by filling in the center
