  2. This is my Korean War diorama that I did for a competition. There was a bit of confusion and I was told that it wasn't needed because someone else had done one, however I was then told that they could of really done with having my diorama. So judge it all you want as I'd like to see how I would of got on Apologise for the bad camera
  3. Hi, I'm making an Airfix Avro Vulcan but I'd like to make it as if it was still in active service, not as a display aircraft (like it is in the set) So does anyone know what the uniform would of been like for the pilots, how many were there and Humbrol colours to paint the unuiform. Many thanks, PlasticSoldier
  4. The tank is a cromwell and part of the 7th armoured division
  5. Hi, I've got the figures now for my Cromwell tank, I've researched corps and regiments and found that the type of tank I've made would be used by the Kings Royal Hussars of the RAC. However, which beret do I do, the black and silver badge RAC beret, of the Kings Royal Hussars brown, red patch and silver badge beret. Please help Many thanks, PlasticSoldier
  6. Hi, I am currently building a 1/72 ww2 Cromwell tank, and at the same time I'm look for a tank commander figure preferably with headphones and a beret on, to put in the top of the turret when I'm finished. However, I can't find one anywhere. If someone can maybe direct me to where I could find one, I'd be very grateful, but ideally, I don't want to have to buy a set with lots of other figures in as well. Many thanks, PlasticSoldier
  7. Hi In the Airfix P-51D Mustang 1/72, do the yellow strips on the wings mean that it's a trainer? Same with the Airfix Heinkel He 111 H-20 1/72, with the yellow band and tips on the underside of the wings.
  8. Wow! How do you guys know all this stuff?!
  9. I just wondered why the Bedford QL has 2 different RAF number plates (1 above the wheel and 1 on the back door and cab door) and the AEC only has 1 type (on the front and back)

  11. I found out about what all the letters mean http://nice-reg.co.uk/number-plates/number-plates/military-number-plates.html
  12. On my diorama, I'm making it part of a 1940 fighter command and I'm giving it a new paint and all that, but what would I change the B/2 to? Thanks guys, this really helped.
  13. Of coarse! Hornbey might be just what im looking for, thanks so much!
  14. Hi, I just wondered if anyone knows what the different decals on the Bedford MWD mean.

The battery-powered tealights are quite popular with the wargaming mob for this.

  16. HI, I've been working on a Battle of Britain diorama for quite some time now, and it's going to have a spitfire, Bedford QWL and Bedford MWD. However, the other day I thought that I'd have a pilot standing by, watching the ground crew work on the spitfire, but I would also have a dog at his feet. I've looked at most sites and still haven't found a dog for a good price, and without buying a set with 39 other figures I'll never use. So if anyone knows of anywhere I can get a 1/72 dog (preferably border collie) for a decent price, please could you let me know. Many thanks, PlasticSoldier
