  1. Thanks lot mates🙂 Only in south of Germany, Munich. As far as I know 4 cases were reported. Serkan
  2. I have also added IFR and IR details: The windshield was built using clear acetate. Next will be to apply primer. Serkan
  3. As I always do, I have started with 3 view drawings and markings of Su-27SKM aircraft: Serkan
  4. Here is an another Flanker restoration project. I had a partially built Italeri Flanker which I got as a part of auction. Although this model has a lot of known shape issues (incorrect air intakes, too big canopy, very fat radome etc...) still I decieded to give it a chance (at least to test camo pattern templates and custom made decal). Serkan
  5. Maybe some of you noticed that the A-12 was standing on toilet paper: The reason is simply having a heavy flu (not bad as Corona) and runny nose and tears in the eyes. Conventional paper tissues was not the solution... 🤧😭 Serkan
  6. Thanks Alan, I am giving my best to build this legendary beauty... Serkan
  7. The decal artwork ist now ready. I have printed it onto Oramask masking paper on which can be printed using laser printer: The fit test seems good: And compared to reference picture: Serkan
  8. Most probably the paints for tail numbers, stencils and roundels were not sticking well to bare metal/titanium especially at high speed and temperature without having a special coating underneath. Serkan
  9. The 06932 NMF rudder seems same as Mothersip 06940 one: From Boeing Museum it is clear that there is a light blue/gray background where tail number was placed: My question is that if 06932 had the same background/primer beneath the tail number... Serkan
  10. The fins were masked for different shades of metallic colors: And in parallel the clear parts were casted: The decal artwork will be done as next step. But unfortunately there are only 2 reference pictures for the tail number 06932. Serkan
  11. Canopy interior details were done, The cabin interior was also completed, Next is to place canopy and apply primer coat... Serkan
  12. The solution would be first cutting the decal transfer film (even without detaching from carrying back paper) and then spray over the decal paper. 🤔 Or maybe sealing with clear coat before cutting strips would have helped. Serkan
  13. Do you mean something like EA-6 Prowler? 😁 To be able to do it the the canopy must be designed similar to EA-6 or maybe in Su-24 way... What about this one? Su-34 Fullcat... 🐈🐈🐈
  14. The seats are now ready to install: Next is to complete cockpit details and place the canopy... Serkan
  15. Having several Flanker projects going on parallel I have decided to finish several seat in one go: Next is to finish cockpit area and place the canopy... Serkan
  16. Both canopies for Su-27IB and Su-33UBM were masked and painted from inside: Next step will be finishing the seats and start camo painting. Serkan
  17. After another long break due to ongoing A-12 Oxcart project I am back to this one. The casted clear part was painted from inside: Now I can finish the cockpit details and start to glue all parts together... Serkan
  18. Both halves were glued together and the entire surface was sanded with 600 grid paper till all raised panel lines were gone. Thanks to gray primer it was very easy to rescribe the panel lines simply following the traces of raised ones: Next step will be adding inboard elevons... Serkan
  19. The missiles look great Bill. One of the reason why my Flanker projects are still pending is the applying decals to all tiny missiles... Serkan
  20. Thanks Loren, I am close to happy end but have not decided yet which machine to build. Here are the candidates: The first prototype 06924 had no wing grooves at the beginning. Also it has triangle patches through the entire chines. 06926 has same painting as M-21 has which I will build her soon. Therefore most probably I will build 06932. Serkan
