KV-107 JGSDF Okinawa rescue scheme
Antoine replied to modelling minion's topic in CH-46 / KV-107 STGB
Hi Craig, don't worry, no problem, as I didn't get the decals yet. A last minute change do not bother me at all. -
KV-107 JGSDF Okinawa rescue scheme

Nice! I was planning for the same machine.... There's not that much possibilities with the Frog, but the GB will be better if we each try for something different. I still can revert to my Marines HH-46, and I'll check again what's available. -
Les than a week? Better start studying the kit and prepare my pics for presentation. Where are my decals??? Got to order them ASAP!!!
-
Don't know how, but I've zapped your answer. This is good news! Now I got my subject, time to get the decals.
-
And I never claimed you claim anything... Time to remember where you left your humour, mate. or I'll send you a dozen boxes of Modelsvit's Mirage IIIE! Blackburn something, IIRC.
-
As you've seen, my own box is the brand new re-release, and I won't use the decal sheet, so if you're interested in a Spanish or Greek option, just let me know.
-
At the time, there was a contest with UK for the ugliest aircraft, ever. We did our best, but... the Brits won!
-
There you go for the sheet with CL215. And the one for CL415 has just been reprinted. But then, if you plan a non-French aircraft, the kit's decal sheet is just beautiful.

What's available to represent TWO aircraft in flight?
Antoine replied to Antoine's topic in Diorama Chat
Sure it helps. Exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. thanks Dennis. -
Hi there, I'm not used to dioramas, nor displaying our kits in flight, but I've some sort of project related to this, so I was wondering: - What's available on the market to represent not one but TWO aircraft in flight, close together. I mean, not only the stands by themselves, but also the scene (Terrain or sea), blurred prop (does it only exist?), etc... Any idea is welcome. -If it happen there's nothing that suits me, what would be your prefered material for a stand (to support a medium sized WW2 fighter))? Thanks in advance for any input.

Mate, Heller's AAC.1 has just made his comeback... 16€ at Oups...
-
This one was in yesterday's mail. Yellow plastic, yes, but a huge decal sheet, with Sécurité Civile, Spanish and Greek options! Could be my champion for this GB, or a CL-415 that'll certainly get in the meantime. Or a DC-6??? All with Syhart decals, of course.

Well, she's fine, really, running everywhere in the house, also jumping but not too high, and thinking twice before doing it! She doesn't like the antibiotics I gave her two times a day, and she try to run away each time she see me with a syringe in my hand. But you can't really run away when the kitchen's door is already closed... I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow for a checkup, as I'm afraid there might be a pocket of pus under the skin on one side.

Strange name for a cat, and I can't see any pics???
-
Does someone know about any reference book on the market? I thought there was at least a Squadron In Action, but I'm not so sure after an intensive search through my bookshelves. Any ideas?
-
excuse me, I thought I've already posted this. Did you check Printscale? Sheet 72149 IIRC? I'll certainly get this, too.
-
Hi Enzo, Thanks, but I'll wait a bit, as I hope Plaza Japan will restock.
-
Well, I was wrong... I've checked with a friend who own nearly all the H-46/kv boxes, and it appear that the boxes have only one set of sponsoons.... Well, I'm stuck with my HH-46 for the moment, but I've still time to find a KV. Wish me luck.
-
Hi Craig, a quick search on the net shows that each box have two set of sponsoons, I need to double check with my own box.
-
Don't exactly know what happened, I believe she had a fight trying to defend her territory, but the vet told me I could have lost her. She went back very late on sunday, and could barely walk. I couldn't see any wounds, but she made me knows without any doubts that her back hurts. Was really afraid about an internal haemorrhage at first, but she refused to drink or eat, so I decided she could wait till the next morning to see the vet. I left her there the whole next day, and get her back home in the evening. She's nearly fine now.
-
Was in yesterday's mail. It was the only variant remaining at Plaza Japan. Not really my choice, so I'll see if a Japanese or Swedish KV is a possibility starting from this box. I'll then order decals, and see what other stuff is available.

1/72 Special Hobby Mirage F1EQ "Iraq"
Antoine replied to viperchief's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
The aircraft was flown by major Abdul Karim Mukhalad, among other pilots, but all those kills are not confirmed even by IrAF. -
Hi John, Nothing really planned at the moment, but be sure that there'll be some armour. Happy new year to you and the family.
