  7. Didn't saw the pics before... Great, Kyrre! Both Mirage and Rafale are from the 12. 12e escadre de chasse, armée de l'air, from Cambrai-Epinoy, Picardie for the 2000. 12F (12e flotille), aéronavale, from Landivisiau, Brittany, for the Rafale.
  8. Nice work, specially the A-6 and the Albatros, who looks great.
  9. A nice subject. Looking forward to see some more pics.
  10. I agree. Just check Lifthere decals webpage. There's also a good book in english about 351 sqn, available at Ian Allan.
  11. Those are great pics, Kyrre, espcially the lancers!
  12. Whowwww! great! What can we expect for an exotic camo? Pakistani? Vietnamese?
  13. Another great book on the Burma campaign is the third volume of mr Chris Shores's trilogy, Air War for Burma, published by Grub Street. The first two volumes are Bloody shambles 1 and 2, speaking about the air campaign of late 1941 / early 42 in the Philipines, Singapore, etc... These two were written with mr Isawa and Cull. If you get them, you'll find Buffaloes, or Hurry over Singapore quite useless, as nearly everything in those books can be found already in the Bloody Shambles serie. I can also back up Mohawk over Burma, a great book, but quite difficult to find. Anyway, a big thanks to everybody for all those books to buy ideas.
  14. I must confess that I didn't know anything about this vehicle before Tamiya's announcement. At least, the good thing is that I'll have to document myself. By the way, for those who are interested, this will be soon available: You can usualy find all the Trackstory at Blast Models, certainly the best armour specialized model shop in Paris (And maybe in France).
  15. Well, I'm wondering: Do you, you Brits, are really interrested by this kind of kit, I mean, a French vehicle like this one, with nearly no historical background? And why? Even myself, as a French, I'm not really interrested in buying it for the moment (Maybe latter). Just wondering.

I've also bought this one recently, and my question is: Is there a dedicated site to this panzer on the net, or in general, a web page about British armoured cavalry?

    Rafale

No, it was done during a family day, aboard our (only) PA, the Charles De Gaulle (You know, Churchill's best friend ). It was pre-planned, even if I have to agree that it was a little foolish...At the time, there were less than 12 Rafale in our Aéronavale (Fleet Air Arm).
  20. A very good aircraft, well liked by crews and mechanics
