Another great book on the Burma campaign is the third volume of mr Chris Shores's trilogy, Air War for Burma, published by Grub Street. The first two volumes are Bloody shambles 1 and 2, speaking about the air campaign of late 1941 / early 42 in the Philipines, Singapore, etc...
These two were written with mr Isawa and Cull.
If you get them, you'll find Buffaloes, or Hurry over Singapore quite useless, as nearly everything in those books can be found already in the Bloody Shambles serie.
I can also back up Mohawk over Burma, a great book, but quite difficult to find.
