  1. IPMS Stockholm has only a French ww2 paint range for AdA aircrafts. Never build a Mirage 2000 myself, but I've seen on a French forum a guy that was using XF20 for the grey, and XF18 mixed with X2 for the blue. The result was very good to me. Check this link, Sean.
  2. Thanks a lot, Richard. That's exactly what I need.
  3. Well done! Lovely hunter. This Xtradecal sheet is absolutly marvellous.
  4. Got a revell 1/72 GR1, that I plan to build some days in it's 2nd Gulf War colour, with the help of an Hi decal line decal sheet. But I also have a model alliance sheet, for a GR4 this time, for operation Telic, which looks very good too. But there is something missing in the puzzle: I got only some early paper doc for the Tournedos, so, in other words, nothing that deals with the GR4. And I don't know of any webpage dedicted to that aircraft. So in the end, my question: What are the external differences betweens the two marks, and what about some usefull web references, as I didn't find anything to my liking on groogle? Thanks a lot in advance.
  5. Jeff, the photos are not from me, but from Eduard's web link at the bottom of the post.
  6. It seems that it is available: Eduard
  7. In the French AdA, it was said of the Jaguar (At least by non-Jaguar pilots) that the aircraft could take off only because the earth was round... I must say that French jaguar engines were never updated.
  8. I should have remembered that I speak and write English like a Spanish cow...
  9. Thanks a lot for the olifant conversion pics. Where did you get it? And...At what price???
  10. Love the 406 in Finnish colours. Good looking pit.
  11. Sorry for being non understandable. And thanks for the feedback.
  12. I need YOUR advice!!! In fact, I just like to know what you think about this kit!

    Xtracrylix

I've no experience with Xtracrylics, but this range seems unavoidable if I want to paint camo from Brits origin in the future. Are there any shortcomings? Is it possible to mix it with some Klir, as I does with most other acrylic paints?

    Mixing paint

Same here, but I add the paint also with a dripper (Not sure about the right word). And then mix with a cocktail stick. After applying paint, I always spray a few drop of thinner alone, without cleanning the airbrush after each color.
  16. Thanks Bex, that's exactly the man they talk about.
  17. From the last issue of the French aviation magazine Le Fana, a private SHAR F/A2 owned by an ex Marines pilot, made its first flight in the USA on 10th November. Sorry, couldn't find anything about that on the net.
  18. Hum.... Well.... About the old camo, MA say: Dark sea gray => Xtracrylic XA1004 Dark green => Xtracrylic XA1001 Light aircraft grey => XA1015 What about the equivalent in other acrylic ranges, like Tamiya or Mr Color?
  19. Does anyone got some pics of a GR1 pit, or of an International Jaguar pit?
  20. According to Verlinden's Lock On, the Mirage was equipped at first with a MB mk 4, and then a MB mk10
