  1. For the moment, they're thinking about giving an air2air capability to the 2000D. The 2000N replaced the IV in the nuclear strike role, but not in the strategic recce role. There is simply no aircraft to replace the IVP in this role, even the Rafale. I think the RAF has the same kind of problem when the canberra PR9 was retired. And the IVP was a mach2 class aircraft. Which aircraft replaced the canberra in the RAF???
  2. Same here. And what about the camo (For the C)??? I might try a Peruvian aircraft. But didn't see the box yet in France.
  3. Great project. Another aircraft were you have numerous possibilities for exotic camos.
  4. Zotz Re-edited at least once, but again sold out. And there's at least another producer, but I can't remember the name...
  5. Wonderful! After all, yours is not a desperate case.
  6. And so have the French. To help you keeping up to date: The Berlin wall is no more, as the Iron Curtain, and the Vietnam war is over. I think that you already knows about a certain landing in Normandie, back in june 44.
  7. Well done about the kit, Dragan. Sad news for the Mi-17.
  8. Great idea. I would have participated with a revell 1/48 Sabre Dog.
  9. I've always thought that South Carolina was an American state, but I now realise that after all it might be another planet, outside the solar system. Sorry, just joking (A bad joke I know). A good link (The best?) about Polish F-16. We've heard a lot about it in Europe when Poland decided to buy F-16, just after being accepted in the EU.
  10. Keep faith, Steph! 1/72 decals, well... poo-poo happen! But about the slats, it shouldn't be a great problem for you.
  11. Yes, really. There are some other interesting sets for two-seaters F-16, but for the haseg kits.
  12. Another option: - Tamiya F-16 - Wolfpack design conversion:
  13. It would replace the F-1CR in the tactical recce role, but I'm curious to know where you read about replacing the Mirage IV. They play in a different category.
  14. Right about the Jaguar, but wrong for the Mirage IV. The IV was not replaced in its last role, strategic recce.
  15. A lovely aircraft, furnishing us plenty of exotics modelling subjects. I shall have a go one of these days with some classic airframe kits.
  16. Had replaced??? For the moment there are only two combat capable squadron equipped with the rafale, at St Dizier with the 7e EC. The future is not really clear at the moment for the Mirage F-1, but he's still there. There'll not be a fully rafale equipped AdA before 2015.
  17. From Eduard Cool, there's at least one exotic Indian aircraft.
  18. I've check it again, I'm quite sure that they're Belgians. Look at 0.22, and you'll clearly see that they've got some daygloo panel ont the top of the fin, and then the distinctive SEA like old belgian camo.
  19. Thanks for the pics, always good to see a Mirage F-1. huh? Really? Can you confirm?
  20. The first one is not exactly RAF. Those are Alphajet, from Belgian air force it seems (At least not from AdA)
  21. Second wash: The camo is much too dark now, I'll need to make it clearer a little.
  22. Exactly. But I don't think that they ever succeed in the sinking of any ships, despite firing up to four missiles at a single tanker. They even used the AIM-9, with better effect, because the missile locked usually on the engine compartment of the tanker, setting it afire and disabling the boat. Check the ACIG, mike.
