  1. Decals on their way, Martin. What do you use for putty, and to apply it?
  2. Really nice, Andy. More pics, from close up?
  3. Did a little bit of work today: I didn't do an extensive work on the pit, only added some photo etched parts, painted it black, and dry brushed the whole thing in dark grey. Tried to work a little more on the bang seat, still with the help of photo etched parts, and then painted it black, with green cushion and brown seat belts. Again, I drybrushed the seat frame in dark grey. The whole fuselage was assembled, but as you can see, there will be a sanding session soon!!! Did also some work on the landing gear. STAND BY
  4. And another ATLIS equipped, A-154:
  5. I might have also an old Carpena sheet. Make your choice on an aircraft (At least for the Escadre, 7e EC or 11e EC), and then let me know. Don't forget to drop me an MP with your address.
  6. If you need some French decals, just let me know, as I don't think I'll do a French jaguar. Never say never, but... Got the haseg decal sheet, the italeri E, and the international jag from model alliance.
  7. here are Denes's comments: But if you really want to start building anything flying with Rumanian marking from ww2 era, the best thing you've to do is contacting him on this forum. You just have to start another thread.
  8. Hello Tim. Then I'll post Denes Bernad's comments about the aircraft, so you'll not repeat some of my mistakes.
  9. You're right Periklis, I've forgot to tell that I've also messed up the varnish coat's application... And if you try a closer look, you'll also see that the canopy's frame is very badly painted. One more lesson to learn from this build.
  10. I know, Steph. I'm sorry, as I plan to build some more sooner or latter. But they will be Italian, Finnish, Hungarian, Slovakian, Bulgarian, or even Croatians. You're right anyway, I've messed up the weathering a little...
  11. I've made a little edit, to explain my thoughts. Thanks for the kind comments everybody.
  12. Started two years ago, just finished!!!! OOB, I've only made the harness for the pilot's seat. Aeromaster Decals 48-310 Foreign 109. Not really satisfied, still need to improve my skills, but this kit taught me a lot. I've made a BIG error concerning the white fuselage band, which I've painted to far forward... :shithappens: And then as there was a lack of place for both the roundel and the "9" forward, I've put the "9" right on the band...2nd big error, as there was certainly no ARR 109 with the number on the band... This bother me a little, as there is a special story behind this aircraft. He was flown by an ARR 12 victories ace, Trajan Darjan, who was shot down and killed in this aircraft on 25 february 45 by hauptmann Helmut Lipfert, a 203 kill experte from I./JG53 above Hungary. Lipfert's victory was never confirmed...
  13. Nearly finished! Still a few things to add, a little crate and one or two tarpaulin.
  14. Micro painting is nearly finished. I got to finish the wheels/gun weathering.
  15. Seems good to me, Steph, you're doing well. The wing/fuselage strenghtening was not so easily visible, in fact only in an aircraft in flight, as in the photo provided by Periklis. It's really the kind of thing that you had to KNOW it is there, because if you don't know, you'll not see it anyway. In fact, you're like a cat: Dropped from any altitude, you'll always fall on your feet!
  16. I hope that Olivier at HKI will get a few soon. (By the way, I'd get a few very kind words from him today. )
  17. I know that, Pavel, you just have to check Eduard's webpage to have the full profiles of those aircraft: But there are already some Peruvian decals available from Aztec (As the 1/48 Mirage 2000 in itself is not a new kit).
  18. At least for some times, there was still a gap to cover, and it was done by aircraft like canberra or mirage IVP. The IVP proved its worth during the Kosovo crisis in the late 90's. I think this gap still exist today, but the main problem was the cost to keep those aircraft flying.
  19. And for the moment, afaik, the Aéronavale as ordered 38 Rafale M.... Well, let's try to keep faith!
