  1. Finished! Let's get some constructive critics now!!!
  2. Exactly what I like. A given aircraft with foreign markings. Well done!
  3. Simply beautiful!!! Constructive criticism???? errr..... Well, do we really have to?
  4. I always paint them with an airbrush. If you're careful, you can work very precisely with an Iwata. I cut the mask in some tamiya tape or other, using a scribbing template. I paint the rim first, let it dry, put the mask, and paint the tire with some tire black. Then, if necessary, I do little corrections with a thin paint brush. No problem at all, very simple.
  5. AFAIC, as I have already both the Hellcat I and II from haseg... But still, I'll wait to see the FAA box, you never know...
  6. Ok, so finally it is available elsewhere than Eduard, good to hear that
  7. From Eduard's shop? Or another?
  8. I can only back you up. And also, there's too many Vb, and not enough Vc.
  9. And to have a closer look of the whole subject, Arab/Israeli war in the air, there's no better web page than ACIG, with a very neutral view. Check also ACIG journal.
  10. Two stars are egyptian aircraft kills, three stars are Syrian aircraft.
  11. Israeli camo on the shahak is quite matt. Check idfmodelling for exemple. I suggest xtracrylic matt varnish?
  12. A bit shiny, but nevertheless very pretty.
  13. I hope to get back to Duxford. Was there in 2005, with numerous good pics of the flightline, but lost all of them in a hard disk crash.... I need to replace them.
  14. Great pics, thanks, Martin! And what about rugby???
  15. Dave, this publication was stopped a few years ago, and replaced by Dogfight, another publication. Dogfight did not last long, and the last issue was published early this summer. But Christian-Jacques Ehrengardt, the editor, re-launched Aerojournal last month, with the help of Yannis Kadari, manager of Editions Caraktère Here is the new webpage for Aérojournal. In my view, AJ was the best French aviation magazine, and it'll soon retake it's place. Check the mail from caraktère editions, and ask your question there. If you're not successful, jsut let me know, as I can join CJE from time to time on some French forum (Himself, or Yannis Kadari). You can also find him on TOCH forum, as ... CJE (Christian-Jacques Ehrengardt).
  16. Then, Martin, perhaps you should try to thin down it with, say, acetone, and then apply it with a (Old) brush. Gap will be more easily covered, and you will be more precise. There will be putty only where it is needed. Just try it. And of course, take care not to damage the plastic, putty/acetone must be well mixed before the application. Mr Surfacer can also be used.
  17. Can this kit still be found easily today in any modeller shop?
  18. Hello Phil. Sure you can. It could have been a different story if the aircraft has belonged to a nightfighter squadron, but it's ok for a bomber squadron.
