  1. Simply amazing. I enjoyed seeing that plane during the Singapore Air Show, long time ago.
  2. F-4G version is a must for me. Second one is F-4EJ /EJ Kai in one of those insanely Japanese camouflage schemes.
  3. Yes, the comparison is very nice. Spitfire is very subtle even with cropped wings. On the other side, Corsair looks like, I don't know why, a death sentence for the airplane being in front of it.
  4. Stunning and motivational. I just purchased F4U-1D from Tamiya and waiting now for Eduard's PEs. Too late thought to join the campaign. Your work may serve as a reference for the paint job.
  5. I flew 747 once - over 13 years ago with Singapore Airlines from Frankfurt to Singapore. My first long haul flight ever. Unforgettable.
  6. Finally! Model with many hurdles mainly due to faulty decals. Only smallest decals were working, everything else I had to paint. Almost everything as I couldn't go over two yellow chevrons on the rear fuselage...
  7. With some hurdles the model is finished. I had to mask and paint hinomarus. Only missing marking part are two yellow chevrons before the tail - there were beyond my patience and my masking tape...
  8. P-38F is my next aeroplane build and your model is a great inspiration.
  9. Great display idea and the kit itself. It is very rare to see airplane models shown in flight.
  10. Very nice. All these stencils create extra camo pattern.
  11. Thanks a lot Jari! That will help a lot.
  12. Hi, Does anyone have clear photos or schematics (with dimensions?) of Vietnam era SUU-42 flare dispenser pod? I have one photo, at the angle unfortunately and some data about the flares itself. It gives some idea but more data would be greatly appreciated. Damian
  13. Kit is 2010... When I recall I had one decal problem with my Tamiya's Spitfire, but it was just one roundel which broke once on the wing.
  14. What can I say, except fu#$&%g LOL? Decals are completely disintegrating just after soaking them in the water.
  15. I think now there's no doubt that this plane served in the tropics. Here topside before the final base colour blend coat.
  16. It's getting nice together. I guess painting through all these grilles will be a bit tricky now.
  17. All my builds have been derailed by a knee injury, but I'm trying to do something. The underside is done. Painted with XF-76 followed by two lighter shades of the base colour and touch of flat brown patterned with airbrush stencil. On top of that blending coat of base colour. Tomorrow topside.
