Hi John Aero, Thanks for the reply. The aircraft I 'am hoping' to model is 'desert cloud' G-ACAB, but I am still trying to research the actual colours. Very difficult finding 1930's colour pics. Thanks for the offer of trying to source mouldings. I have just obtained a kit of a polish RWD-13 which has more or less the same layout and dimensions as the 'puss moth'. Anyway, if you can find any mouldings I would be grateful. Best Regards weeman

Hi Out There. Welcome back to Brit Modeller after the 'glitch' This is a tasty one. I want to try to make a 1/72 plastic model of the DH80 as flown by Amy Johnson. The only kits I can find are the ones produced by Omega, which are resin. These also come with a hefty price tag. Is there anyway an airfix dh82 could be modified to make a puss moth. I daresay it would involve quite a bit of 'scratch-work' but I just wondered if anyone else has mrt this challenge. Regards weeman

Hello Everyone. I am a new member and this is my first post. What I am asking is this - I want to build a 1/72 model of the DH88 'Black Magic' flown by Amy Johnson. The reason is I want to try to build all the aircraft flown, or flown in by Amy. The problem I have is the decals for 'Black Magic. I know 'Whirlybirds' produced a set, but they appear to be out of business, and I can't obtain a set for 'love nor money' !!!!!! Can anyone out there offer any suggestions? The only way I can think is to paint over suitable decals, or use letraset, but getting the correct size could be a problem. I hope someone can offer some advice. Regards weeman
