    Skywave equipment sets for ships are pretty useful. I got a set off of eBay for my star destroyer.

    I feel like zvezda really hit a home run with their star destroyer, and it saw huge success when they sold them to revel for reboxing. Maybe given that, they’ll see the need to make at least a 1/72 AT-AT, if not a 1/35

    Good work! I got this model for Christmas, so I'll be keeping an eye on your build. The fins look great. What did you use to strip the chrome parts?

    I'm in love with it. By far the best Star destroyer kit ever produced sub $600. For the price, it's incredible.

    At least yours made it to NY? Mines still "awaiting departure from Russia". Been that way since the 16th.

    That's a bandai thing. I don't think anyone else does it. On the bigger gundam figures, the hands have individual finger joints done the same way. It's really incredible.

    Oh man. I'm hoping I have a present on my porch when we get home from visiting family! I'm in the states though, so it'll probably take longer than it does for you guys.

    I've never really worked with fiber optics before, so I'm looking forward to tackling this one! I've got a few projects to do, so I might watch a few of the WIP threads from you guys for inspiration first.

    Just ordered my 1/6 storm trooper. Can't wait to put it next to my 1/6 Vader. If the line takes off in this scale, I really hope they do R2 and C3PO, those would look incredible

    Grabbed up a boxed one for $115 shipped. Pretty fair price IMO. Can't wait to get it. I think this will be THE Star Destroyer to own unless bandai releases one.

    I saw the same, unfortunately. Although, I've got plenty of bandai kits, and lord knows I'm not supposed to have those either. My wife's old college roommate was Russian, maybe I can pull some strings.

    All I really used for my bb-8 was the weathering color from tamiya, applied with a brush, and a dark wash to bring out the panel lines.

    I made it. I have a laser CNC cutter for my business, so I cut the pieces using that as well as engraved it

    Windex has always worked well for me. Destroys acrylic paint.
