I have the 16" RC/voice activated R2 and wanted the RC BB-8 too. But on all the ones i looked at the underside of the head wasnt tall enough and the heads looked squashed down on his body. The Bandai one looks right. I really like BB-8 but R2's the really naughty one, he swears like a trooper and the PG film censors cant stop him lol. Yes so sad to loose Carrie, she will always have a special place in my heart & live forever in Star Wars. A hoth outfit Leia would be cool but atm Bandai dont seem to be doing figures with faces. I always wanted Bandai to make a Boushh Leia i really liked that character, total badass ready to blow everyone up with a thermal detonator.

With this new big 1/2 Scale BB-8 for April?, plus the surprise 1/6 stormtrooper that came out of nowhere, we might just get bigger figures like 3PO etc. As yet we dont get 1/12 figures with faces, so id expect the bigger figures to be masked/helmeted too. Certainly goes against any idea that Bandai wouldnt make bigger kits "as the Japanese market wouldnt want them living in small houses" etc. From what ive seen of the 1/2 BB-8 it seems to have a rotating head in the same place on the body. I wonder if Bandai will put lighting in it and maybe sounds. This new 1/2 BB-8 is 34cm so a 30cm Death Star is similar size. Im almost convinced we will see a 1/72 Falcon & 1/48 AT-AT and after the awesome Rogue One a huge 1/700 Star Destroyer, CR-90 Blockade Runner & Hammerhead Corvette. ***SPOILER FROM ROGUE ONE*** SO much awesome!

Never heard of it before this movie, reminds me of Blade Runner and Matrix and visually looks a treat, def one to watch in 3D

Id also really like to see a Bandai 1/12 Luke / Tauntaun.

Superb modeling congrats! -
Im still patiently waiting for a 94cm Star Destroyer, the detail work for Bandai's talented team on that project alone is huge. Id also like to see: 60cm CR90 corvette - Blockade Runner 60cm EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate - Medical Frigate 1/72 Falcon 1/48 AT-AT Imperial Lambda-class T-4a shuttle - Tydirium 1/12 Lukes Speeder 1/72 B-wing 1/72 TIE Bomber 30cm Death Star 60cm Hammerhead corvette 1/12 Figures with faces like Darth Maul 1/12 General Grievous Pretty please with a cherry on top!

So cool, im really looking forward to Rogue One now!! Bandai have to make that huge Star Destroyer, now would be the prefect time to do it. Looks like the AT-ACT's cargo box can be totally removed.

I thought the same about the brown trousers, ww2 farmers pants with inflated balloons inside?, maybe dusted up they would look better. Also the good guys usually have the British WW2 outfits, so this looks a bit odd. This guys very similar but looks so different. Hopefully Bandai are busy round the back with the huge SD, AT-AT, bigger Falcon and figures with faces esp Jedi and Sith.

Dragons twitter: https://twitter.com/dragonmodels AT-AT, AT-ST & Snowspeeder were all over it through August. Shame the speeder has wrong proportions, the AT-ST looks squat. The Huge AT-AT doesnt look too bad on first impressions, but judging by the mess theyve made of the snowspeeder id have to look a lot closer before buying one as a stand alone model. To their credit they have made smaller AT-AT's and some rebel laser turrets and mini rebels. If only they could get the dimensions right on their models! Which brings me to Bandai, i allready have 3 awesome snowspeeders and 2 cool AT-ST's in 1/48 so for a Dio im Bandai all the way, they just need to release the 1/48 AT-AT We have seen a Laser turret from Bandai allready with the A-wing, so maybe a 1/48 Hoth turret + "Satelite Dish" gun & some lil rebels too? For some reason i had Force Friday (or whatever day it is this year) down as the release date for new kits, but then Bandai has allready revealed a supercool DeathTrooper (with tactical vest and pouldron!) and re-done the X-wing into a Rogue One version. I have a feeling Bandai may aso make a Jedha Patrol Stormtrooper for Rogue one, they have a nice back pack with an aerial. http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2016/09/Rogue-One-Jedha-Patrol-Stormtrooper-Hot-Toys.jpg

Ive yet to see a white decal that could cover up the details behind the cockpit. The easiest way would be to make the X-wing all black plastic & include.. or say, "requires" some white paint & masking tape. As cool as that X-wing is, Id rather see a TIE Bomber tooled than a black X-wing with some white on it.

Did we ever find out what that flat figure was?

That sounds awesome! Are the wings sraight on it? I do remember someone buying a huge TIE, cant remember the make, only to find out the wings were a bit bent, iirc they rebuilt it. Post pics when you light it, id love to see it- 879 replies

Sounds like a cool build, i do remember someone making a DeathStar surface or maybe that was inside an engine?

Cool im happy for you! I dont usually get stuff on pre order, but i had to wait ages to get Kylos helmet, at one point i didnt think i would get one, aftermarket they were going for silly money. Also i dont know how long the molds last, but i have a feeling the first ones will be of better quality than say in a years time. I finally got lukes lightsaber too for £99, they sold out again in a day! http://www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/star-wars-the-black-series-luke-skywalker-force-fx-lightsaber/TRUP1928830001

If you havent allready seen it, i thought id give you a heads up on this cool helmet. The Kylo Ren Black Series helmet needs a bit of filler to join some gaps and a black metal looking respray to make it look awesome imo. This new Stormtrooper looks like it will be good straight out the box, maybe a lil more gray sprayed on the nose. Available 30th September, i just Pre-ordered in store at Toys R Us: http://www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/star-wars-the-black-series-imperial-stormtrooper-electronic-voice-changer-helmet/TRUP880210001 Hopefully they can make us more like Boba Fett, Vader, TFA Stormtrooper & later Darth.. Ren?
