There is just something about Italian aircraft...and cars for that matter... Really nice build, well done. Some FYI in case you didn't already know: I remember reading about this aircraft. The pilot, a Mr. ME Tarantola, used to be a fruit vendor hence the "Dai Banana!" - Go Banana! marking.

Thanks Clogged After lying in wait through the morning's snow a T-34 has been spotted by our sharp-eyed, binocular-wielding spotter. "Tank! On the horizon!" he barks. The crew swings into action, ready to load a shell and punch a hole through the approaching T-34... In truth though, it was a bit difficult to get the talc to go where I wanted it to. Seeing as there are no empty shells lying around the above is my plausible backstory to the dio.

Hi All Finished her off on the weekend. Here is my Super Tweet. This is my first build of an Academy model and I was pleasantly surprised, the kit was easy to assemble and well detailed. Most importantly, I had fun building it. I made seatbelts from some tinfoil and I added break lines and aerials from some stretched sprue. I drilled a hole into the nose and added some foil and clear glue to simulate the light. I tried to get some half decent photos but I'm quickly learning that using a phone for pictures is very limiting.

Hi all This is my Italeri Kfir built a while back. I attempted to scribe new panel lines because they were nearly non-existent on the kit. The process of rescribing with a craft knife was painful and the lines came out looking like the Grand Canyon. Needless to say, I won't be attempting that again without a scribing tool.

Hi all This is my UH-1D from about a year ago, my first helicopter build. I did it as a 'Nam era gunship. I added the decal to the nose from spares donated by my father-in-law, I just couldn't resist even if it isn't historically accurate. Cue the Flight of the Valkyries music:

Hi all Well this may be my last 1/48 for a while, it takes me too long to complete, especially with the amount of firepower that this beast of an aircraft came with in the box. I really struggle to build bombs and missiles and to make them look half decent. Underwing stores really are my nemesis. By that stage of the build I just wanted it to be over. If I have to assemble another Mk 82 bomb.... The kit wasn't bad to build and the lizard paint scheme was fun to do, my only gripe are the raised panel lines. I must've sprayed about 6 coats of clear but still got silvering of the decals and applying the all important shark mouth turned out to be a disaster. I think I need to practice a bit more on 1/72 before tackling another large scale aircraft. Excuse the cat hair all over the model, it's part of the joys of owning pets I suppose...

Hi all After a long hiatus and low modelling mojo I eventually forced myself to finish this one. I should've sanded more...I should've used more filler...but hey, I think it came out OK. No weapons were provided in the box so I left her in the clean configuration. Comments welcome.

I do not know which I like more, the figures or the aircraft. Would really like to see a WIP on both.

I tried to seal the powder in by spraying a matt coat but I just ended up with powder blowing around and off of the dio, so another drawback is that the talc is sitting loosely and is prone to be blown off or disturbed.
