  1. That looks great. I especially like the way you got your NMF
  2. There is just something about Italian aircraft...and cars for that matter... Really nice build, well done. Some FYI in case you didn't already know: I remember reading about this aircraft. The pilot, a Mr. ME Tarantola, used to be a fruit vendor hence the "Dai Banana!" - Go Banana! marking.
  3. Thanks Clogged After lying in wait through the morning's snow a T-34 has been spotted by our sharp-eyed, binocular-wielding spotter. "Tank! On the horizon!" he barks. The crew swings into action, ready to load a shell and punch a hole through the approaching T-34... In truth though, it was a bit difficult to get the talc to go where I wanted it to. Seeing as there are no empty shells lying around the above is my plausible backstory to the dio.
  4. Thanks Matt The one thing that irks me are the helmet straps. Definitely going to try your suggestion next time around.
  5. Hi Niknak Thank you. It is a Dragon kit and yes, the kit included all figures.
  6. Thank you. I think I need to invest in some stronger bulbs.
  7. Nice build and a nice plane. I really like the 'Nam era markings.
  8. Hi All Finished her off on the weekend. Here is my Super Tweet. This is my first build of an Academy model and I was pleasantly surprised, the kit was easy to assemble and well detailed. Most importantly, I had fun building it. I made seatbelts from some tinfoil and I added break lines and aerials from some stretched sprue. I drilled a hole into the nose and added some foil and clear glue to simulate the light. I tried to get some half decent photos but I'm quickly learning that using a phone for pictures is very limiting.
  9. Definitely going to give that a try next time. Thank you sir
  10. Hi all This is my Italeri Kfir built a while back. I attempted to scribe new panel lines because they were nearly non-existent on the kit. The process of rescribing with a craft knife was painful and the lines came out looking like the Grand Canyon. Needless to say, I won't be attempting that again without a scribing tool.
