Title^ My question is what suggestions do you have for a basic starter set of paint? I'm thinking of going with Vallejo. I'll be painting German, mostly Luftwaffe. What colors should I start with? Should I buy a set?

I was thinking of starting JV44 "Red 4." Does anyone know anything about this plane? I know there was some discussion about whether or not KH hoffmann flew it, or what. I'd like to have all my ducks in a row before committing to Red 4. Thank you!
