    There's a reason for that, they significantly recut those scenes for the home release. If you can track down a theatrical cut, the changes are pretty obvious.

    Nice kit. I agree on the color choice. I've never seen a silver one. Here in the states they are all red, yellow or black.

    The canopy is just sat on for now. I'm afraid the charcoal wash will rub off without a flat coat. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. I'm really happy to have finally finished something. I hope I learned a bit. I'll find out on my next project! The decals where fantastic. They where super thin and in register. They also layed down with no trouble. I would highly recommend them.

    I'm calling this one finished. What can I say, I'm not happy with it. I stripped off the drybrush and replaced it with a charcoal wash that I think looks better. I'll have to keep working on my technique. But for a first build it isn't awful, but it isn't good either. Unfortunately the humidity has been high lately so I have been delaying the final flat coat. It may not be great but I don't want to ruin it with a frosty flat finish. The clouds are out today so here are some really bad shots on my phone indoors. Its supposed to be sunny tomorrow, so I'll get some better shots then.

    You are talking about the epilogue right? Not Miller's Report? I liked the ending it wasn't as heavy as 0080 or Zeta. Or as rage inducing as 0083. It was nice. But I do completely understand your displeasure. If you want a more story accurate ending check out the re imagined manga. I honestly can't remember the fate of the main characters because the changes to the other characters were so cruel. For example Kiki really pays for the decisions in the village at the end. It's awful. As far as SEED goes, that's one controversial series! The more I learn about it, the weirder it gets

    I remember reading about these in school in a book about spec ops in Vietnam. I don't think I've ever seen a pic of one outside of that book. Interesting pics.

    They have those B-17s here too. They don't seem to sell like the tanks do. I'll ask the girls next time I'm in HL. I hoped for some 50's or 60's jets in 1/72. Especially something RAF or USAF.

    Just an FYI, some auto acrylics can have a violent reaction to some enamels and even other acrylics. I had to repaint an entire Mustang (not a model, a real car) because of a reaction between the acrylic formulas.
