    A little bit of progress.     I am well aware of the winning design Ex-FAAWAFU, but I am not a fan of the horrid (IMHO) asymmetry of such a layout. My 'whif' Merlin AEW will be based on the idea of what do you do with an ex-RAF Merlin that the Marines don't need as a junglie? Please note that I am open advice/ideas from any ex-RNAS members out there.

    Collecting various SAR helicopters in 1/72 and have gone from building 1 CH-149 to 2 NAWSARH's! In getting the right parts I've bought 3 kits plus some spare parts to build 2 helo's and I was thinking "what do I do with the leftovers???" Then I had a happy accident. I found a spare radome in my Sea King! Then I thought of this...

    I'm going to be watching with great interest for any Mi-26 Halo builds as I have got one c/w Begemot decals and Eduard PE to do. Currently fixated with doing two RNoAF NAWSARHs (one with a ramp and one without) as Agustawestland originally proposed SAR for Norway without a ramp in a PDF and then did a generic SAR PDF on their website with a ramp in norwegian colours. Too much scratch building in the interior to join in with and the Halo is planned as a careful long term project and I can't choose between the Aeroflot scheme, the Chinese Fire service or the Moscow Service.

    Absolutely brilliant! will be using this as a reference/inspiration for my 1/72 revell build for the interior
