  1. Don't you swear at me! Where is the WIP, where is the RFI?
  2. @e8n2 , I have decided to err on the side of caution and leave the engines out of sight where they currently are. @Chief Cohiba , I must admit to being "enthusiastic" enough to want a second Mi-26 now (now in the stash). BTW Chief, I have you to blame/thank for me purchasing a Tu-144D after seeing your build. Having got the Begemot decal set I find myself drawn to several schemes but think I will just stick to the China Flying Dragon and Vertical-T Heavycopter for now although I do like the Moscow Fire Dept. and Aeroflot schemes as well.
  3. The "dirty" configuration can be a can of worms as to what do include. If you include the flaps for the main wings, what about the tail and stabilisers? What about leading edge devices? What about reverse thrusters for the engines? Does that mean producing 2 sets of engines? What about landing gear? Does it need 2 or 3 sets or do you make 1 set that can be positioned accordingly? Next thing you know is that you have a 400 piece model with a price tag that makes Eastern Express prices seem reasonable. Plus there will always be someone who will complain that there are too many parts (and all that wasted plastic polluting the planet!) and that you didn't include wings that are flexed for that authentic "in flight" look but that you did every other option. Yes, I am a cynical skeptic.
  4. Ooh, nice and shiny Blinders. Please note; Neither am I but Britmodeller is strictly neutral my friend.
  5. Great JP. Brings back memories of badly building this in 1/72 as a kid.
  6. Posted this in 'Modern' which I think might be the wrong place. So I decided to try here. Does anybody know if somebody makes Lotarev D-136 engines for the Halo in 1/72 scale?

  8. The Phantom and the Tomcat have the same beauty about their form as the Mustang, Camaro, Barracuda and Charger have. Their is more function in the F-35 than the F-4 and F-14 but there is a certain grace to the shape of it. It's a bit more Torino.
  9. You're welcome. You're a braver man than I to battle with an F-RSIN kit. Your skills really shine through on this one.
  10. Absolutely magnificent! Bravo. Well done on all your hard work to make a silk purse from a sow's ear.
  11. Is Google Photos any good or do the URL links disappear after a couple of weeks like some other hosting sites?
  12. And way, way, way above mine too! Definitely!
  13. Wow! That really looks so wooden! Amazing!
  14. I know exactly what you mean. I have the same love/hate feeling for both the A350 and the 787. There is that certain 'je ne sais quoi' about them in the nose area for me, just can't put my finger on it. Anyway, lovely looking 787 in a great livery.
