  1. Thanks Mike. πŸ‘ Like you, I can't get enough Luft 46 subjects, especially in 1/48. I have the "standard" (day fighter) version of this kit, and the parts seem to be the same as the night fighter, with the exception of the PE for the radar array. This includes both types of tailplanes, FYI.
  2. The RS Models website has just been updated to show "Coming up!" for all three versions for the kit, including the Limited Edition version. πŸ‘
  3. In the latest Eduard Info (https://info.eduard.com/en/01-2024-1/page-6), Mr Sulc's editorial mentions that a Mk.Va will be released this year. The original info for "The Sweeps" boxing (a couple of years ago) said that it was going to include the Mk.Va, but I don't think that actually happened; they were all Mk.Vbs in the box. Whilst it's not too hard to crosskit a Mk.I/II with some Mk.V bits to get there yourself, it'll be nice to see a dedicated kit for the type in Eduard's range! My totally rational sense of completionism with regards to 1/48 Spits is one step nearer to being satisfied - now I just need Eduard to follow through with the Mk.X/XI they mentioned briefly *years* ago... πŸ˜‡
  4. It's at Frontline Hobbies in Newcastle (AU) as well - I was there the other day. I was gonna grab it, but then I saw the new HB MiG-29K as well... both are still on their website as in-stock, by the way. I'll grab the Fulmar at some point; that wingfold is glorious!
  5. I don't think the nightfighter variant has *ever* been available for sale! I jumped on their website the moment that @Homebee posted the information on 8 September, and whilst the "standard" version was (briefly) in stock, the nightfighter wasn't. I've checked back pretty much every day since then, and neither one has been in stock since. They're nowhere to be found on eBay either... surely someone somewhere has one for sale! πŸ˜‡
  6. Oh damn - you're right!!! Sorry troops; I saw the November leaflet was available... and I thought I was first with the news. I should have looked a bit harder. Oops. πŸ™„
  7. November 2023 leaflet is out: https://www.eduard.com/out/media/distributors/leaflet/leaflet2023-11eng.pdf
  8. Gawd... I searched half a dozen other websites/reviews before I posted here; I should've just stuck closer to home. πŸ™„ Thanks for the reply Mike!
  9. Hi all, Would anybody have a photo of the new re-release's decal sheet? I've tried looking online (including the Airfix site and Workbench), but no luck. I'm wanting to see the proportions of the RAN roundels as included on the sheet... have Airfix made all six the same diameter, or are the two fuselage ones smaller? Thanks in advance! Michael
  10. Looks terrific! I really hope they follow-up with a Mk.IIb and IId... I'll be getting at least one of each. πŸ‘
  11. Well done! I think you've done a terrific job... your skills handling an airbrush for the first time seem to be a lot better than mine were. And maybe even now! πŸ˜‡ Keep up the good work!
  12. FYI, the April leaflet is now available: https://www.eduard.com/out/media/distributors/leaflet/leaflet2023-04eng.pdf 1/48 A6M2-N Rufe! πŸ‘
  13. @Boman Here's the March edition: https://www.eduard.com/out/media/distributors/leaflet/leaflet2023-03eng.pdf The April edition isn't released as yet: Eduard normally put out the leaflets mid-month... I'd give it another four or five days, at a guess. The April edition *should* be at this address when it's released: https://www.eduard.com/out/media/distributors/leaflet/leaflet2023-04eng.pdf
  14. Looks fantastic, and I'm definitely going to get one! I jumped on Halberd's eBay site the other day, as soon as I saw in the Rumourmonger that they were available for purchase; alas, there were only a handful available, and I had just missed the last one by a matter of minutes. Andrey's post more than explained the reason why there's only a limited quantity thus far... I'm definitely not going to complain. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ You've got another definite buyer lined-up here, Andrey - keep up the amazing work! I already have the Halberd Bf 109W conversion, and will be grabbing the Seahawk as soon as I can. Mind you... if you also saw your way towards a Spitfire floatplane conversion (for the Eduard kits)...? πŸ˜‡ Michael
  15. Wedge-tailed eagles (or "wedgies", if you want to sound really Orrstrayan), also have exceptional long-distance vision... which, given the aircraft's role, I suspect was one of the reasons why the RAAF named the plane why they did. And not because wedgies are also fond of eating carrion or carrying-off small household pets... Mind you, if we wanted a truly terrifying name to strike fear into the hearts of our enemies, it'd have been a toss-up between "Chipmunk" and "Puss Moth", surely? Or "Fawn"? πŸ˜‰
  16. Just like the new BPK P-8 Poseidon kit, they've made an error with the RAAF roundels, I'm afraid... half of the roundels should have the 'roos facing in the opposite direction. Bring back the old blue/white RAAF markings, I say! No room for error then. πŸ˜‰
  17. There's some information about upcoming Mk.V boxings mentioned on Page 5 of the January 2022 Info Eduard newsletter: https://www.eduard.com/out/media/InfoEduard/archive/2022/info-eduard-2022-01en.pdf.pdf Second half of 2022: Spitfire Story: Per Aspera Ad Astra (Limited Edition) Spitfire Mk.Vc Profipack No mention of what specific topic/theme the Per Aspera Ad Astra boxing will cover, but given that the RAAF crest features the phrase "Per Ardua Ad Astra", perhaps it's an Australian-themed box? It'd be terrific if that were so (I'm somewhat biased!), and even more so if there was a Peter Malone book included... let's call it "Aussie Five"!
  18. Astounding paintwork and weathering... truly remarkable skills on display! I see a lot of posts from people commenting on photos of a various finished models, saying that they "look just like a photo of the real plane" etc. etc.: this is the first time I've truly thought the same. Outstanding.
  19. Thanks! I think you've just convinced me; I've got a number of unbuilt RAAF aircraft in the pipeline, and I'm going to need a good supply of Foliage Green... AK looks the part. πŸ‘ Once again - superb Spitfire!
  20. Absolutely fantastic! Thanks for sharing! May I ask: what brand of paints did you use? The Foliage Green looks particularly good...
  21. @Work In Progress Heads up for you (and everybody else!); the B-26 is now available on the Eduard website. https://www.eduard.com/eduard/wine%2c-women-%26-song-1-72.html
  22. From what I understand, Eduard don't put new products on their site until they're in-stock and available for ordering... I don't think you can pre-order from Eduard at all. They list upcoming products in their "Leaflet for Distributors", but the items won't appear on the website until they're available for the public to buy.
  23. Showing as now available on the Special Hobby website: https://www.specialhobby.eu/en/our-own-production/reggiane-re-2005-saggitario.html
  24. Hehe - I know what you mean... you just need to refresh the cache on your browser, and you'll get the images on the main WnW page. Press CTRL and F5 together (at the same time), and you'll force the page to refresh whilst clearing the cache for that page. Have a look here, for more info: https://refreshyourcache.com/en/cache/ Cheers, Michael
  25. Looks like a BM is slated for next year, according to Hannants: https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/ICM48905 My favourite version! πŸ‘
