  1. Hi Nenad,

One of my favorites, I love this tank, it wouldn't be very effective in reality, but it is a very elegant model.
The work done is stupendous in all aspects, including the complicated Caunter camo.
I have one of these finished, but I tried to do the camo, and not finding information on how to properly paint the back, I gave up and did it in full sand, allowing myself some artistic license and a more pronounced weathering than on yours.
I hope to publish it one day...

    Cheers

Well modelled King Tiger: the Zimmerit looks like it was made for this model. I like the autumn leaves lying on the hull.

    Hi Donald,

Many thanks for your like and kind comments, i'm glad you like it.

Although I had to make some cuts and/or touch-ups, they were not as many as I imagined at first, fortunately.
Although it might be better to use the MENG ITEM if it is available at the time of making this kit, something that did not happen in my case.

    Cheers

  3. Hi GS,

Impressive beast! With that size you can see the details with the naked eye, no magnifying glasses...lol.
Personally I like the tone of the interior photos better, I don't know which one will be the most suitable for the model.
The two-tone camo is very cool, and the accessories you have added.
I agree with adding some color, it is a point of attention without a doubt, it may not be reliable, but those that do not allow us to be somewhat creative at least, for the sake of historical accuracy, are somewhat annoying, nothing against them , but there is also a part of modelers who prefer precision and others like me, some artistic license, without excesses, of course...:hmmm:

  4. Hola FlatandFox,

Welcome to the forum, waiting to see your published works.
Personally now, I only make 1/35 AFVs (I imagine I'll continue because of too big a stash), although I love planes and ships.
If you make some AFV, I will surely see it, since it is the section that I really usually read.
Fortunately you were a "bad boy" 😅and did not listen to your parents, now you probably have a lot of experience in modeling, in addition to the qualities of a good modeler, patience, perfectionism and a taste for the complex and well finished.

    Cheers

  5. Hi Stef,

Nice AA, very well accompanied with those figures, which are very well finished.
It reminds me of the old Tamiya one, I still have one half finished in a box, from my other stage.
If it turned out like yours in a hypothetical final, I would be very happy.

  6. Hi Maddox,

Tremendous model, out of the ordinary, for being an iconic and unique cannon.
Great job with its finish, showing a very WWI, dirty and muddy look.
The figure, very good as always and gives the sensation of scale perfectly next to the projectile as well.

  7. Hi GS,

They are an excellent group of little "thugs", if I had had them when I was a child, I don't think they would have survived until now, but without a doubt the fun with the battles I did with my brother would have been invaluable.
Despite being so small, I don't know exactly how much, this scale "escapes me", the finish is fantastic and the detail is more than average.

    Cheers

  8. As the mate says above, it is difficult to know which model represented a qualitative leap, or at least, it gave us "joy" to see how it ended.
On the one hand, there are many that someone of a certain age has finished, making the choice very difficult, and on the other, the one that we liked so much, is possibly very old, and now when we see it (if it is still "life" ), let's see the number of imperfections and mistakes we made and now it would be easy for them not to happen.
I no longer have my models from the first stage that I considered "decent", when I returned to the hobby, they either served as guinea pigs, or they went to the spare parts box, or because you saw them with a higher bar, or because reason for space, because as we made new kits, with better results, space was also "finite"...
I only have a Tamiya Merkava MkI from the previous era, which was a little better than everything else, and which I also repainted when I returned to the hobby (posted on the forum).
It's a shame that the WIP doesn't have process photos, because Photobucket got greedy, and I changed hosting.
Yes, I have the first kit that I completely finished upon returning to the hobby, and if I can say, it represented a qualitative leap with the previous one, and that I liked seeing it, even so, after a short time, I repainted it (published in the forum), with new products, techniques, and a little more skill, which was dormant for more than twenty years, IHMO, I think it turned out better, and I was very happy to have finished it and it didn't take much time between the two processes.

He also improved with photography, with better means and a little more knowledge.

I have also made a KT like yours but from Zvezda.

    Cheers

very nice modelling. One point. Quite possibly my ignorance, but were barrels ever finished in red oxide primer? I understood that if a replacement/ uncamouflaged barrel is featured it should be painted in a heat resistant dark gloss grey primer?

    Hi Ken-I,

Many thanks for your kind comment, i'm glad you like it.

Although I didn't really know it, you're right, I was tempted to paint it gray, but in the end I opted for the rust primer, the aesthetic aspect prevailing over the reliability, now I would have done it in gray, anyway, it's easy to fix and one day I will give these a pass in dark gray.

  10. Hi Kelscale,

It really looks like a journey, from the first models that you show, you can see how you evolve, going from one point to another, just like on a trip.
The last models are really good for my taste, and some of the ones that you haven't finished and are in progress, already have a great look to make a great model (Ferdinand/Panther).
The current level is very good, and the photos are also on par.

    Cheers
