From time to time a completed model appears that re-ignites the modelling mojo.. This is one such, well done Sir. -
Tomasz, fantastic detail, flawless finish. Well done Sir.

Trevor, thats really helpful. I have just picked up two old Tamiya Kits, a Calibra which Le Mans have a sheet for and a Opel Astra V8 Coupe which they dont. So will progress with the latter with caution.
-
I recently picked up two old Tamiya kits (Calibra and Astra) and pause to think what trouble I am entering with old decals. The thought of masking and painting as you have is beyond brave. I am very impressed, excellent finish.
-
Sabrejet, should have added 'awesome' completed kit. As a novice car builder have some considerable way to go to come close to your standard of build and finish.
-
Sabrejet many thanks for the information, that's great news will order from them today👍.

Has anyone used decals by the manufacturer Le Mans. Any idea if they are any good?

A model that inspires one to pick up a scalpel, open the glue and try and achieve such a great build. The finish and look just feels right. -

Mr Lin Happy Newyear to you and thank you for the information.

Mr Lin stunning build and paint finish. What paint did you use for the chrome detail?
-
Having not built a Bel kits rally car, do they come with window masks? As someone who has only built tamiya car kits, how easy a build are they? Thanks for any advice. Simon.

Amazing work a well thought through and atmospheric diorama. -
Dear Bob, as others have said fantastic metal finish and the paint finish is excellent. Getting the masking right must have been an 'interesting challenge' .

Now that is very different. Interesting to see and always better displayed in a diorama in my humble opinion.
