  1. Thank you mate, I always do knackered...bit like me really Glad you like it. Yeah, I had a set of Joker decals and thought it would look cool on the back Chuffed you like the old girl.
  2. That is an exceptional quality build. Finish is sublime, well done Michael! Love it.
  3. Here is my latest build. A Airfix 1/12 tractor, I had already made one years ago and enjoyed it very much so decided to get another. To this one I have added: Mats, rear lights, decals to the engine bay, PE lettering for the FORD badge, all painted and weathered. So, hope you like Si:)
  4. Thanks guys. Have seem the production Falcon.superb model, lovely pics, thanks for sharing.
  5. I was never 100% happy with this so have gone back to it and added some more colours to the panels, some yellow and red and greys.I also added a pigment mixture of burnt steel, reflective agent and then some smoke pigment to blast marks, also added the burnt steel and reflective agent to the exhausts. Si:)
  6. Thanks guys, this was a fun build although I wasn't over impressed with the MPC round 2 plastic and the decals-IMO-are poor.
  7. This is based on events after the Moon broke away. Earth is in a bad way, tectonic upheavals, tidal locked. The space administration had already started to look to Mars as the next step from the Moon. With resources limited the Eagles had to be retro-fitted with very long range fuel and power plants to bring personal and equipment, they are worn and used and covered in the Martian dust. The green signifies it is a botanical pod, carrying seedlings grown on route for the Marsbase arboretum. Scratch made and kit bashed parts for the base and on the Eagle. Si:)
  8. Ta mate. Was a good project to work on, hopefully I have captured the Star Trek feel with the equipment. Glad you like it.
  9. What a nice X-wing, love the colour scheme too, something different. Lovely work and weathering.
  10. Oh yes, very, very nice indeed. One of faves of 2017 mate, lovely finish and presentation.
  11. Finally finished the probe/scanner, this has a 'sniffer' for soil, gas and water samples and can be attached to the sample box to take reading, it then attaches to the data pad for upload of data Si:)
  12. I am trying to figure out how to get some sound effects going in the thing, using a small MP3 player USB and a pillow speaker...we shall see if it works.
  13. This was my attempt...on the rather large Hasbro version...I think you have put me to shame as I was struggling with the lights and there is loads of space! Cracking build, weathering and the lighting effects.
  14. Many thanks, glad you like it. Like I said a couple of small pieces to make and add but nothing major. Here is the costume, I have made it my own with patches and ID arm band, the phaser was a original movie one, stripped down and repainted with a trigger added, more robust. Also made the chest box, buckles and added the three ball pocket fasteners-these are on the original. First aid kit with scratch made hypo spray. Modified phaser. Si:)
  15. Thanks guys, finished off the screen and got that properly fastened in and the screws capped. Just got a scanner/probe to make and then it is totally finished.
  16. I have been working on this for the past few weeks. I wanted a 1/1 prop to house a Ceti-eel from the Star Trek movie The Wrath Of Khan, it will also go with my TWOK costume. It started out as a make up box, the guts stripped out of it and re lined. I scratch made parts, bought parts and raided the parts bin for anything that would work and look right. It has working LEDs/switches, sample tubes with samples made from Tamiya clear and two part epoxy, the Ceti-eel is 1/1 and came from America, all primed and weathered. It is 90% finished with just a couple of small bits to do but they are just a small probe thing, but the box is finished.
  17. I have been following this build on this and other forums, amazing work and detail and truly deserves the rating of: amazing! Sets off the beautiful Enterprise model superbly and together they look just like the movie shots. Congratulations on creating a stunning piece of model making and movie magic. Si:)
  18. Just spent a pleasant half hour going through this thread, enjoying it immensely! Superb work so far, all looks to scale and the detailing is exceptional, keep going and you will have a masterpiece on your shelf.
  19. There is something cute about this 'egg' models. Looks superb though and not bad detailing either.
  20. UPDATE. Have started on the interior, the round thing is going to be a screen with info on, don't want too much and don't want to clutter it up.
  21. I hope not Dave...maybe I will call in sick on that day I wanted it simple and so far, it looks the part. Cheers Pete, it is getting there...slowly though.
