  1. I have a Tiger 1 and my son has the Sherman, I decided to strip mine and mess around doing the paint scheme, a more in the field look. Got the Tracks off and painting, although tempted to replace with metal. Got the hull accessories to finish painting before putting back on. May remove the decals too and redo. So, here she is...Snow Tiger. Si:)
  2. I was going to put him on the floor but remembered the scene in The Empire Strikes Back with Han and Chewie working on the Falcon and that droid helping, figured R2 could be supervising. Thank you, I think ladder is actually a spare rail from a 1/35 tank cut down and bent. Cheers, was really a mess around, what could I do to add to it-junk box came in very handy. LOL, Yoda must have given R2 and Luke a leg up Glad you like it.
  3. Nice work indeed. At that scale: A- I wouldn't be able to see it and B- I would just lose it.
  4. A Revell kit that I decided to have some fun with, added some bits from the spares and junk box. Si:)
  5. Thanks mate, pleased you enjoyed it. Agree, all that energy and materials expended in making them and most ended up rusting away in the deep black.
  6. Thanks Mark, my way is just one way to do the look, it worked for me. Glad you like it. Cheers Mick, pleased you like it.
  7. This is the Vulcan Shuttle from Star Trek The Motion Picture. It is a 1984 rebox of the AMT 79 issue, not the newer Round 2 version. Si:)
  8. One of the best of the original series in my opinion...
  9. I watched James Cameron's documentary on the ship and pictures to try and get the look in the scale. Glad you like it. Most kind, really pleased you like it.
  10. LOL, well when they start to go wrong they end up knackered...as most of my builds end up. Now, ST/GB crossover...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
  11. LOL, yep, was messing with two part epoxy and Tamiya green clear.
  12. Nice one, yours turned out better than my effort. Well done, like it.
  13. Ta very much Nigel, glad you like it. Cheers Chris, yes it is the 1/24, tiny little beggar lol. Why , thank you very much. Si:)
  14. Cheers Vince, glad you like it mate. Was one of my faves to do.
  15. Hi Tommy, thanks mate, glad you like it. I have heard of Drakstar paints, got a couple I think. This was an idea with what I had in really and worked, well, came out better than I expected. Si:)
  16. This is my tiny little B-9 robot from Lost In Space. Si:)
  17. This is made from small real bricks and tiles and stands around 10 inches high. It represents a 14th century watchtower that has fallen into ruin. Si:)
  18. Thank you, pleased you like it. Cheers for the positive reply, appreciate it. Alas this model has gone to someone, friends little lad that loves wrecked Daleks.
  19. There is something about Eagles that still looks so good even today, a very rugged usable piece if kit. You have made a quality build and it looks superb, well done.
  20. Many years has past since the Dr helped to stop the evil spread of his foe...the Daleks! With help from U.N.I.T they managed to stop a secret underground bunker being used to enhance and grow Kaled mutants. The battle was hard fought with many lives lost but with the Dr's help the Daleks' bunker was destroyed. In the main control section the ashes of a fallen trooper lie near his adversary-the mechanical-cycloptic-machine stands still, its outstretched plunger failing to activate the mutant bio-chambers safety protocols in time. They all perished and the Earth was safe, for now... Si:)
  21. The year is 2160, after the battle with the Na'vi and the consequential expulsion from Pandora, the RDA is still on the search for a source of Unobtanium. They have surveyed other worlds and have found a new source... Si:)
  22. I know that WWII Japanese paint wasn't that brilliant and so I figured that after being sat for many years under a sun getting bleached and then weathered it would be faint and patchy. The plane is a very old monogram one, detail is next to nothing and I got it free from another forum member, some parts were missing...so out came the thinking cap and looking at old abandoned aircraft. Thank you for commenting and glad you like it. Cheers, pleased you like it. Ta Mike, glad you enjoyed looking. Thank you Martin, really enjoyed this one, took a few hours to get the paintwork right, I thought it would be easy...er, nope. Thank you Glyn. The story behind this: The Zero was damaged-tail first and used for spares, eventually it was just left to nature. Cheers Vince, glad you like it mate.
