  1. Thanks mate, just a bit more paint to add to the outside, don't want to over do it. The inside is going to be tricky, need to get some bits together and have a play about.
  2. I am slowly working on a new Star Trek prop to go with my The Wrath Of Khan away team field jacket costume. As I like to make my costumes more personalised, I thought this would be a nice edition. I got hold a aluminium make-up box rather cheaply, stripped the inside out and then started work on the outside, not too much change as I liked the look of the ribbed look. Just some paint effects and then slightly worn, added a pair of strap buttons, a printed out card showing the contents and some Starfleet badges. There is still dome more to do on the outside then I can start on the inside. Si:)
  3. Very nice Steve, love the layout. Sometimes a simple dio board and layout really brings the models to life and this certainly does pop.
  4. Very nice, like the offset model composition. The Vanquished and the victors moving next to each other, great work, nicely painted and weathered.
  5. Thanks Glynn, was a great piece to do and just let yourself go in the worn and wrecked department
  6. They are decals, but the bits they are on are made from plasticard.
  7. No, just keep forgetting to update lol. This is also RC I am doing another in Panzer Grey with some more men in it, just got to clear the workbench. I may get another couple to do as they are so cheap £12 each and have a play about with them.
  8. Like this I have done a tad more work on this, really should update. Thanks for looking and chuffed you like it.
  9. This will boxed up next week and shipped off, then it will be a nice...hopefully VW bus again in the 'What If' scene. Pleased you like it Vince.
  10. I took the pictures outside, the natural light will enhance the look and not make it look so stark-er, no, that overcast the flash went off Glad you like the 'she-beast' Francis.
  11. This is a 1/16 RC Tiger I. It is a commission build and the customer wanted a early Tiger I that had seen plenty of action and was a tad worse for wear but still going strong. So, I did, now in real life we know the crew would be reprimanded and on charges for having a tank in this condition but, from mid to late 44 with spares and services not always available or time limited then the possibility is there. Anyway, here she is: 'GRETA' Si:)
  12. Thank you Lee, was a great project to do and very enjoyable. I am glad you think I got the balance right, sometimes you can overdo a dio.
  13. A hour spent trawling through this amazing build, you sir have a true talent and you have created a an amazing build. Thank you so much for sharing and a privilege to see a true modeler at work.
  14. Thanks Vince, is a great fun build and really enjoyed myself. I have just got a shield to make for the MG and maybe some racking for the sides by the windows, then some decals and it is finished. Thanks Hans, I wanted to try and get something that looked like it worked, think it has so, thank you.
  15. Very gently Vince lol...I heated it up and used a wooden brush handle to roll and push. I have finally gone and got the wheels all painted, scrapped and sanded, just need weathering, sealing and then put on the tank. Have taken a break from it until after Christmas.
  16. Update. added a whip aerial, some netting and a pack to the front,a welded ring to the side and the fire extinguisher decal. Si:)
  17. I got a toy RC VW bus in 1/16 scale and thought what if the Germans had had them and used them in WWII. So, just a bit of fun and apart from some decals this is finished, it has got a driver, spare Tiger wheel, some crates and pipes inside and a box of fruit and eggs My Afika Korps VW bus. Si:)
  18. I have installed new gearboxes, and removed the old smoke unit to fit a better one. The lower hull has been weathered and rusted slightly, as have the sprockets, idlers and some of the wheels.
  19. UPDATE. Couple of rounds of weathering done and wheels started, these are done my hand with plenty of scrapping and sanding...going to take me ages lol. I also painted the inner hatches-these will also be weathered. Si:)
