    Your picture is much appreciated. 

    I was in contact with former members of VXE6 and the told me: "We have never seen any LH-34D with skis. "

    Your picture proofs the opposite.

    Difference: Their pictures show the type with three exhaust pipes from the radial engine.

    This model has only one exhaust. (Seabat/Choctaw/)
