  2. Hello All Messerschmitt BF109G-4 "RED 7" final decals complete. I first saw Red 7 on a trip to Duxford at one of the flying legends air shows, my first glance at her shocked me as I was't expecting a replica 109G series to be flying in the show. after doing some research of Red 7 I found she had a long history of disaster and rebuilds and just for that she inspired me to build a 1/48 scale model of her. the kit was a Eduard Bf 109G-6. Red 7 being a G-4 some slight modifications were made mainly just blisters on the fuselage. well hope you enjoy some more pictures added D-FWME / 7 (cn 139) This Messerschmitt was built in Spain license as the Hispano HA-1112 M-1L Buchón in 1950 with c/n 139. After delivery she served with the Ejercito del Aire with serial C.4K-75. After decommission and storage was in 1968 sold to UK and registred as G-AWHH. Starred in movie "Battle of Britain" as Bf109E "yellow 11" and "red 14". Later after crash was sold in USA, represent an Bf-109E-4, then bought in Germany and after 30.000 restoration hours was in 2004 first-time demonstrated as Bf-109G-4, including the Daimler-Benz DB605 engine. Unfortunately in July 2005 heavily crashed again. After long-time repairs by EADS at Manching returned in February 2009 in the air. hope you all enjoy thank you beezwhat.
