    Would you be so kind to give me some color references regarding your most excellent Revell 1/48 Tornado IDV.

    Yours look very convincing. So convincing that you would almost get strapped in for a little ride (flight).

    I have heard barley grey, medium or light sea grey. I have lost it.

      Hi Orion 

       

      Thank you for your appriciation of my tornado, sorry I ended up mixing my paints tbh to get the desired shades, but can't remember the exact ratios. I used Mr hobby paints for the main colours. The colours you said about sound about right, for me it was a case of testing them together and just adding darker colours or lighter till you think it looks close enough. Then with weathering oils I used and sealing with gloss and semi flats,it changed the contrast again.
