  1. Not over my house but whilst exiting Scotch Corner services this afternoon around 5pm was pleased to see a Hawker Hunter overhead. Too high to see any identity but certainly in camouflage with underwing tanks. HHA from RAF Leeming?
  2. Crucifixion? Yes. Good. Out of the door. Line on the left. One cross each.
  3. In the second picture on the post by Homebee on the 1st December, is the arrestor hook on the sprue with the propellor (immediately below the standard fillet insert)? JMB
  4. A sadly under-kitted subject for sure. All we currently have are the 'I-wouldn't-touch-a-resin-kit-with-a-bargepole' resin offer (overscale floats) and the much older 'I-wouldn't-touch-a-vacform-kit-with-somebody-elses-bargepole' vacform offer (underscale trebuchet).
  5. A somewhat snide post. I'd have expected better.......
  6. You'll also need to factor in the likely VAT and handling charge as this looks like it is shipped from Japan. Final price is close to £100. JMB
  7. Rick, I logged into Amazon.com using my standard Amazon.co.uk log in details and added the airbrush to my basket and proceeded to the check out stage. I chose the shipping address as my home address and then selected the AmazonGlobal Expedited Shipping option. I paid using my Mastercard details stored in my account and the amount came to £51.88 (airbrush £38.15, postage £5.08 and import fees deposit £8.65). It shipped without issue on the 4th December and is on the way to me. I have just been through the procedure again by clicking on the original link in infofrogs post and it let me do it all without problem and never said that it couldn't be shipped to the UK (all I had to do was press complete your order in GBP). My Amazon account is just a standard user, non prime one and I live in the Lake District. I'm just not sure why it is giving you problems and saying it can't be shipped? Could you contact Amazon in the US to discuss why you are having problems? Hope you can get it sorted. JMB. EDIT: Did you try to buy the cheaper one from Amazon Warehouse (used like new). I tried this and it stated no shipping outside of the US.
  8. Hold on Rob! Debenhams often run voucher codes so you can buy online and arrange to collect instore for free. At the moment, using code DJ37, you can collect it at your leisure and have paid a slightly better £27. Also, at the moment home delivery is free if your total spend is £30 or over so you could 'add' say the 1/72 Harrier GR1 or the Typhoon Mk.1b starter set for £8 and have both delivered for £34.20. There are often codes available for 20% off and sometimes a 20% off 'coupon' in the Daily Mail too). HTH, JMB.
  9. That's a shame Mark. No way I'll be able to make it to the show and I do like a good bargain........ It would be nice if you could offer the deals via your website for the travel challenged amongst us JMB.
  10. I'm hoping for a fully working Death Blossom....! Looking like a very nice set of builds there Aeryn43. JMB.
  11. A fantastic build and finish, top notch!
  12. Thanks for that link Troy. That looks to be an excellent read. JMB.
  13. That looks like a lovely diorama Tim and a very convincing photo too. JMB.
  14. And here is one from the rear, so to speak Link to Tormentor4555's Flickr Account JMB.
  15. Rick, Try this link Amazon Might be lucky! I just got an auto confirmation of the order although it is with Modelzone who's own website actually says none left. JMB
  16. Now there's a Stringbag that has seen some action! Lovely job on the weathering. JMB.
  17. Fictional it maybe but your Ventura looks good in those markings. Cheers, JMB.
  18. That looks lovely! I can see why the vacform canopy is required to best display the aircraft with the canopy open but are the rest of the Pavla parts (the radiator etc) a 'must have' over the kit parts or a 'nice to have' over the kit parts? Cheers, JMB.
  19. Thanks for the link Carts. That is a fantastic offer really. You are getting a 'demo' version of the game which can be used with 'paid for' versions of the game online and access to all the latest features of the 'paid for' versions too. I'd been looking at getting a boxed version RoF: ICE for some time but now I reckon I'll get the 'demo' version and then wait for one of the sales that the RoF team have from time to time. That way I should be able to purchase pretty much all of the available planes for around the same price as the boxed version of RoF: ICE. I know, I'm a cheapskate! JMB.
  20. An excellent model there! And thanks for posting those pictures Nick. John.
