Thanks Steve very much appreciated. Yes I hope you & your family have a great time. Nor a pleasant period we are going thro. But all 14 in the family are boosted ie 3 jabs each. But all of this is not going to get in the way of a very nice time.🫕🧑🎄🍺 Laurie Cheers Tom very much appreciated. Have a great Christmas. Laurie Cheers Tom very much appreciated. Absolutely brilliant John. Daughter in Law Candy , wife of Pete my youngest son, was found to have lung cancer. Right at the Covid beginning. Plus being of West Indian Parentage more susceptible to the ravages of covid. Operation. Many tests since & all is OK. However Pete would not let Candy out & a good job he has done. My wife, we in Jersey, they in Stratford London, & we have not seen them since covid began. But they are safe & that is the important bit. There is though more than a tinge of sadness.

Thanks Jonners much appreciated. More than grateful to have you a long. BritMod have to say has people with superb Info & Help. Spent times on many forums & this is definitely the best for all of that. That is a ton of info thank you . Please just keep it going Jonners. Great problem I have found with making models is lack of info & this is great to have. Now I am Fascinated. it should be a long tube with a chrome cup thingy on the end with a spring flap that clipped to the panel adjacent to the jump seat. It was rarely if ever used for its intended physiological purpose! Care to expand on that. Laurie

Very nice work Steve. Great detail which always makes a model. Bet the cameo drove you mad. Are you back to sleeping at night. Very nice & a lot of photos. Laurie -
Oh no you have to rig the aerial Ade. Makes a model. Dead easy. Lightly sand the two ends to be connected. Touch the end of the thread (in activator first) in C/A place up to the first point . With a steady supported hand keep there for 15 secs. Same other end. Little more difficult as the thread has to be stretched.. Finished. But I using a mid grey slightly paint in patches the thread. OK Thread I use Crystal Strong on eBay. Variety of differing sizes. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=super+glue+%26+primer&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=super+glue+%26+primer&_osacat=0 C/A & most important the activator. Dab activator on the two plastic end which will not be applied with glue. Let dry. The activator will give very quick adhesion & very strong. Try a sample to get the technique first. Really worth the trouble on such a very nice model. Laurie

Just add recently gave up driving as I decided I could not at a vintage age concentrate properly. So Bus. Wife & myself got on the bus first time (up to B & Q). End of a 10 minute journey 5 of us where chatting like mad. Enjoyed that 10 minutes. Laurie

Meeting people in our flats. Just like chatting. Found & made a lot a friends. Always think the people are happier if they can have a chat a laugh at sill things. Morrisons is below our flats. Always chat with the assistants & have a laugh. Just makes life so much happier. Just chat breaks the ice & people , in general, are responsive & happier. It works. Laurie

Is that from the Government ? When covid was into about months & lockdown all in Jersey got a free card £100 to boost the economy. I have asked for more but no reply but got 3 free covid jabs & a flu one free. No complaints. Laurie

Wow Tim you sound like my wife. She loves negative affirmative. Never tried 1/444. Strange how we each settle on a scale. Laurie

Well my early speculation of March the 13th 6:55 am on a Friday 3002 has slipped. I have had to tidy the store cupd in our flat. Now knackered & weak but some confidence I can make it by . 4002. Laurie

Getting so darned frustrated with a De Havilland Dove. Then And then Throwing Dove on the floor & stamping on it. Dead. Then dumping it in the refuse sack. A feeling of relaxation followed by a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, large 🍸 Laurie
