Haven't had a strawberry milkshake (or any flavor really) in quite some time. Maybe have to take a trip down to one of the local drive-ins this coming weekend before the crazy work hours start next week.

I think I have a kit of that....
Edit:I lie. It was a Hs129 B-3. And it was "only" a 75mm cannon, not an 88.

I may or may not have acquired an EA-6A conversion recently. Guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for another HB A-6A/E in the future.

Not to much to look at, as it's all fit/finish work as I'm edging closer to the paint stage. Nose fitted and blended in...we'll see how it looks after some primer. I suspect I'll be doing a little more blending work there. Also working on pre-assembly & fitting of the engines prior to paint. These buggers take a bit of time, careful cutting, and some fiddling. But with how big & open they are, I should see a fair return on time investment.

Both IR & radar R-40s were carried and typically fired in pairs. The IR first, followed by the radar guided. The RD (radar guided) is the one with the pointier nose.

Can I be a pedant and point out that it's a 5BR?
Yeah, that. I’m at work so not staring at the box. Should probably fix the spreadsheet too.

Plenty of GBs I’m either interested in or have something in the stash (at least 14). After loading the GBs into a spreadsheet and seeing how they space out over the year, the following are currently the primary focus.
WWII Twins - Ki 45 Kai “Nick”
**NATO** - CF-104 Starfighter
Project Cancelled - F-107A
Mirage III STGB - IAF Mirage IIICJ or Belgian Mirage 5BR
As always, subject to change & additions.

Still not likely by the 17th...but it will help the chances at any rate. I took too long of a hiatus.

Some interesting comments about GB lead times. Do people think we need to work on a six-monthly cycle with two Bunfights in a year?
Double the bloodshed.

Love the build Dave. Thanks for the comparison to the Z-M. I’ve been on the fence of waiting for a Z-M late E…or biting the bullet on the Meng. I don’t “need” one right now, so I may just wait…unless a Meng pops up for a deal I can’t refuse.

Love nostalgia builds. Not sure I remember my first...maybe a Harry Gant stock car.

I need to get back to this. Been trying to put some finishing touches on a P-43 (experimenting w/ weathering...and coming terribly close to ruining it). I'm hoping to have a little time off next week. Not sure if I'll make the finish line in time...but we'll see.

Considering I'm from the Pacific Northwest (US), it'd be rude not to.
Plenty of options, from Prowlers/Intruders that were home based at NASWI, to many options from WESTPAC deployed squadrons, some Aussie/Kiwi, and a few JASDF birds. And the Vietnam War options....I'm in trouble.

I'm in. I was actually playing around with some of my Woodland Scenic materials today making a base for my P-43. One of these days I'll have a train again.

Will it be a swing or a delta? That is the question. At the moment the shelf if sadly absent of swing wings...so may have to lean that way at the moment.

Most of the ties appear to have been broken at the moment. All can change in seconds though.

Lovely choice. I’ve got one that I’ve begun…..need to get around to finishing though. Also IDF scheme. 😎
