Cheers guys, The base is kind of my trademark but since I'm now happy with my water technique, I am going to start to make cases and and frames for them.

It's been a while since I posted here. This is a kit I completed a little over a year ago. The Hasegawa DDG Kirishima "Hyper Detail" kit has good detail and comes with a full PE tree. It went together well with little or no issues. I did have some confusion regarding the for superstructure but aft some study I installed it correctly. The build has won several metals form IPMS regionals, Squadron's EagleQuest to the Texas State Fare.
