As a result of the close-down of the UK by the British Government last night, we have made all the Buy/Sell areas read-only until we open back up again, so please have a look at the announcement linked here.
I started modelling as far back as I can remember. My dad used to build them for me, then I stared to build them to play with. Built lots without painting them. Then as I got older took more time and painted them, but always with a brush and enamels, and no modifications or weathering, just straight out of the box. I must have built 100's of kits. But then it all stopped when I was about 30yrs in the mid 90's. I can't recall why.
Then a couple of Christmas's ago my son bought me a model, right out of the blue. And I was hooked again. I'd always kept my old paints, and after 20 odd years of storage, the vast majority were fine.
Now I take it much more seriously, I've even brought an air brush. This site has been an amazing tool to help me to keep improving my skills.
Onwards and upwards, there's always something new to try.
