Hello all, Well this one has crossed the line now and I am calling it finished. Ok I did not embellish the ol gal with much and built it how I would of done in the 80's bar the Airbrushing, I did the ESCI 1/48 one with an awful hand painted job in the 80's which I probably thought was the bee's knees but I am really very happy with this now. Happy Anniversary Matchbox!! Here are a Few photos of the finished article and a ME.262 from when I was 10, Small bit of an improvement I think!! Thanks to all who showed and interest it did help push me along and save this from the shelf of doom, those comments really helped! All the best George

Nearly there, Bit slow this weekend as I was on the pints Saturday night, Just can do nights out like I used too....only 7 pints too. Current State of the RB's Decals next and then seal them in , Matt coat and stick em under the wing. Though going, They look like 3d Prints cast in Resin, you can see the print lines in the resin, Very Delicate, Broke one of the front fins off too, Surprised I did not do more damage!

LTV A-7D Corsair II ***FINISHED***

excellent result! -
Canopy masking off now, The Front nose cone decal I forgot so it is drying on these shots! Strange they give you near enough markings for 2 jets but some markings will only cover one like the yellow nose band.

A thing of wonderous Beauty. One to be proud of! -
Afternoon All, Got the Glossy stuff on, Looks a bit crap in the photos but was polished and all so is a nice surface to lay the decals on. I opted to use the decal sheet I bought yonks back whic was produced by FLYING COLOURS 251. 72109 SWEDISH THUNDERBOLTS as the kits Roundels were too small anyhow for the camo version. As you will notice the nose wheels have decided to come adrift so will be re attached later. Looking forward to that Matt Coat! e

I'll have to print that Maths poster off for the wall!! its perfect! there seems to be loads of those lightnings about still, I had the same dilemma, open a box, 1 kit less , others kits price rises...I'm not in it for making cash though, Just Making enjoyment. -

Hi all, Knock knock, Yeay!! box arrived with the replacement RB's in there. Brexit has done me favours here, Hannant's would cost me £72.00 on the nose, Aviation Megastore €55.11 Sorted and no customs codology. Wife's giving out about the size of the box for such a small item, The Viggen was swiftly whisked away Sussh! Little Postcard too in the box!

Nice one but that wont cover me!!! I did say a Mini Stash in the shed, This isn't the loft !!! I tried to get what I had together in the stash on total (not as much as some of you lads), plus a few kits I had built to take a few photos but did my shoulder in Canoeing the other week and it was to painful to do so. Bit better now!

If I remember my dads one the engine covers were a pretty snug fit and can be removable. -
Ok, I need a name of the Matchbox ringleader here!!!, Any name will do to pass to the missus to blame for this mini stash growing in the shed. Just delivered today. 2 1/48 jobs, to my shame I have not built a 1/48 Matchbox kit before so here's hoping I have enough glue!! not like I have another 300 kits in the loft to get through!!
