The old Monogram kit is one of the very few kits I totally gave up on in my modeling life, I rarely do that so that tells you something. Save your sanity and time...fork out for the Trumpeter kit.

Thanks for the kind words. I kept the old scratchbuilds that are still nice enough for my display case. I'll shoot a few more when I have time.

Anyone know of any possibility of Airfix doing a 1/48 kit of the 14?

These 1/48 models are about 20 years old, I recently dusted them off and took new pics of them for my Facebook page. When I was young and foolish I thought it was "fun" to scratchbuild entire aircraft, did quite a lot of them. But now that I am older, wiser and much lazier I buy only kits that require minimal additional work. When I did these I never imagined that there would now be injection kits available! I even had to hand make the decals from solid color sheets since there just weren't any Swedish markings available back then. Anyway, While these aren't new at all I thought it'd be fun to share my new pics of them.

Nice brutish feel.
