  1. thank a lot Martin further work will focus on the Citroën U-23 from "l'arsenal" and the Citroën 11 BL always from "l'arsenal" the "game" on the U23 beings will redo the tarpaulins with frames ,because on the sheeted models ,I find it too hard and not natural, so I remade and the U23 and 11 I'll try to hollow out the interior in order to open doors and redo interior just to give life to all.. the steering and the brakes will be operational see you soon for a next step cheers Nicolas
  2. thank a lot gentlemen for your kind words today no naval work ...but of the railway work indeed there is "some time" I had prepared the locomotive and car for the diorama, but nothing had been completed. now this has been done in the order ,the locomotive then the gondola cars loaded with crates, barrels (red wine for the "cambuse"? ) planks the covered cars and finally some cars are not right, because my background has small undulations;) see you soon for the next step Cheers Nicolas
  3. great job Mike very inspiring for me ...after my Richelieu , I begin a series of cargo ships in harbor dioramas of 1930 at 1950 and the first ship will be a civil liberty ... wait to see the next advances cheers nicolas
  4. HI gentlemen thank's a lot !! pics of the completed area after laying the second cabling happy with the result and I can go to another area .. cheers Nicolas
  5. HI gentlemen for after of holidays well deserved ,the continuous work ,I start by the two pulleys (12 parts) present under the charge masts . the chains with hook are made by Jean .the same parts ready to be painted .the red arrow indicates the "compas magnetique étalon" (I do not know the name in English) I also prepare oars for painting (white ensign and Jean Mahieux) I received my wire EZ line, So I took care of pulleys and cranes cables I took advantage of the characteristic of EZ wire (elasticity) to carry out the cabling on my workshop .I took the dimension between the place where the pulleys are attached to the castle and the tip of charging mast((55mm )so I cut the wire EZ at 40 mm . the wire longest will go to the winch drum. and same mounting stretched at 55mm the same installed before placing the second crane ,I glued the "compas magnétique étalon " and install from photographs, empty cradles, crates, tarpaulins, oil barrels and wooden planks Contrary to what I thought, this area, seemed to be empty the day of the catapult testing see you soon for the next progress cheers Nicolas

  9. HI gentlemen Neil .... sorry for the elapsed time betwen the each answers ..but of many professional obligation coupled with a very time consuming step ,my distanced of my "work surface" therefore of updates less numerous...butstill active I just finished this step and here are some steps first paint coat one of the masking steps another the first result without the weathering many small parts are separately painted the final result and in place on the richelieu it unlocks me of other stages .....I hope to put less time between each update best regard Nicolas
  10. thank a lot gentlemen's for your kinds words a little update about 120 cm projectors .I made a version with the hollowed optical . 13. HI gentlemens :wave_1: thank a lot for your words and sorry for not having answered earlier but I narrowly avoided a nervous breakdown, who had me taken all desire to work on my Richelieu :mad_2: but now it gets better and the work restart  I'll have to finish definitely the area between the castle and the chimney ,because once the charging mats installed, impossible to reach into this area due to the presence of cables I have prepared the masts loads , and remade the supports of the heads of the masts ,indeed that I did for my first Richelieu was too simplistic (in gray on the picture) the pulleys are prepared Last blank tests the diagram of the cables arrangement you see that the area behind the cables will be difficult to access for pasting without breaking the cables, especially that it is the service boats that are here. so I'll finish them in first a 13 meter motor boat covered by tarpaulin the same without the tarpauline again a 13 meters motor boat but with a different layout it will be on the sea of my diorama, and will be charged with this so a 11 meter rowboat (master) and a 13 meter rowboat (master) and to finish , one of the four 10.80 and 11 meter motor boats provided for the officers and commander. Jean Mahieux draw to me, the PE for the external détails the family begins to enlarge see you soon cheers Nicolas
  14. HI gentlemen many thank for your kind words and sorry for the late answer !!Ex-FAAWAFU yep ..there was on the platforms, the anti-aircraft weapons and the gunners that was not to breathe clean air Richelieu had his entire career combustion problems ..he smoked black enormous ,not ideal for discretion ......its rangefinder present above on the chimney has even been painted black to avoid seeing the traces of soot on gray paint French "systéme D" all diorama accessories are painted and pending the weathering rails and the lift (gray round) for the trolleys are glued I faced a problem with the plates "valeur" and "discipline "impossible to locate their locations......and finally I found their vacation after having scrutinized many pictures  the plates are installed on the fence for the raft "valeur " to starboard and "discipline" to port side testing for the rafts setting up (it takes me much yet) the rails for the secondary boats are also glued ,and an test with cradles is done the cranes bases and rangefinders for the 100mm AA are installed I'm beginning to find that I have large fingers to put all subsets  see you latter for the next step cheers Nicolas
  15. Jean Mahieux, to drawn me the rails for mobile cradles and the rafts park in place ditto for the seaplanes trolleys , the round is the lift to hoist the seaplanes on the catapult (the small parts between the rails will disappear) in place I also started to prepared the accessories for the diorama (L'arsenal 2.0 from my masters ) and again draw by Jean ..of gateways the bottom is separated to be more easily painted in wood shades see you soon for the next step cheers and happy new year Nicolas

HI folks a crucial step has been finished......the rails installation !!she allows the installation of many pièces put aside the bow is completly equipped the midship is also treated and hull finally has a name ...! as for my first Richelieu , I returned the letters and applied spray glue like this one several layers of masking tape are cut into strips (red A) and spacing of the lettering is materialized the strip is applied on the stern and the letters instaled and adjusted and for permanently stick the letters, of the super thin cyano is applied on each letters the result and finally, the windlass is installed on the stern more 18 months that I expect this moment :woo_hoo: see you soon for the next step best regards from France Nicolas
