The "arrows of indecision" were only reversed on one side. Something to do with the Royal College Of Arms I recall. -

The bread (or roll/bap/barm cake/etc) should be "warmed" in the bacon grease. Bacon should be thick and properly cooked, nicely browned and just going crispy, can be cut into bits to ease consumption. Butter is optional (see first comment). HP is preferred sauce. Ketchup and english mustard is a close second. Used to get the king of bacon rolls in a cafe near Hackney Downs station in the 90's. Made me the man I am today.... (fat, lol). Right, thats made me hungry. Off to the farm shop for some bacon later.

You may find it easier to bend if you anneal it. Heat to a dull red and allow to cool. You can quench in water, but I prefer to let it cool naturally.

Regarding the cracking, may I recommend superglue and baking powder? Will hold it together and fill it at the same time.

We had a fitter at work who carried 3 tools. His process was: 1 - Can I fix it with my screwdriver? 2 - Can I fix it with my pliers? 3 - Can I fix it with my hammer? 4 - If no to all above, we need a new one. Put the kettle on lad.

As you now have most of the components available, have you tried a balance test to see if you have enough nose weight? -
Nice work on the terrible twosome. I've built a couple of 'obby 'oss kits in the past, and found mistakes on the decals (such as USS OHN F KENNEDY on a Prowler). Any issues with these?

The rolled Hammocks had to pass through a hoop to ensure they were rolled tight enough. If not, I imagine they were dumped out on deck to be done again. I know that in extreme weather, they were kept below deck. -
