Thunderbolt enthusiasts will likely see the difference between the two engines but most of us, myself included, wouldn't and as long as the kit looks like a Thunderbolt and assembles well enough it'll be a nice new addition to our stashes or completed model collections.

Might as well build kits from the '60 then...😏

  2. Just to clarify...

The Eduard fuselage matches from the top of the stab to the bottom of the windscreen. (ie the upper line.)

The lower line matches until the kit stops where the lower wing goes.

Cockpit edges will need building up, and canopy cutting down.

Can't really judge the wing position, but everything in front of the windscreen needs work.

It would be nice to see, in 1:48 scale...

Fairey Gannet series including wing fold option

    Bristol Brigand

    Fairey Battle

    Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV

    Miles Master Mk.III

    In 1:24 scale...

    Williams F1 FW108D six wheeler

    In 1:4 scale...

A range of infantry weapons from the First & Second World War periods such as the Lee Enfield SMLE, Mauser, Vickers Machine Guns etc...

    HERETIC!

F1 cars should be the one true scale 1/20 😉

  4. Wing will be an interesting conversion too...

Afaik the root was stayed the same but the tip was narrower?

With the wheel wells where they are...😱

Was it the leading edge or trailing edge angle (or both?😱) that will need adjusting?

Just thought of something....would a 152H wing work?

Cut the top surface to the correct span, make the bottom surface follow the top.....(need angle info here)

Hugault's stuff is a lot of fun! I find the stories kinda silly, but he really works to get the aircraft accurate.

I like your color choices, except looking at the pics I get the impression he's wrapped the 81 under the wing leading edge. (This would be in line with JaPo's idea that the darker wing camo was often applied first over all upper and forward lower surfaces, with the lighter color done last.)

there is a bit of inconsistency in the drawings.

in some it looks like 81 (mostly the parked up ones), while the underside makes it look like 02....artistic freedom
