  1. I meant in the part about which engines the produced under license.
  2. This, the whole thing is a cutaway, (look at the exhaust pipe) in a very stylish housing.
  3. From the wiki: In 1947 the management of the plant in Pomigliano d'Arco passed from Alfa Romeo to Metalmeccanica Meridionale,[25] but in 1948 Alfa Romeo returned to aircraft engine production.[6] In 1949 Alfa Romeo made an alliance with Fiat, SAI Ambrosini and Aermacchi to produce de Havilland aircraft, with Fiat sharing responsibility for the engine with Alfa Romeo and the latter two companies taking responsibility for the rest of the aircraft. and: The revived Alfa Romeo Avio began to diversify its operation. Its repair and maintenance side expanded to deal with repairing Curtiss-Wright R-1820 and R-3350 piston engines, Rolls-Royce Avon and Wright J65 turbojets, Rolls-Royce Dart turboprops and Rolls-Royce Conway turbofans mounted on Italian and Norwegian airplanes.[2] Alfa Romeo license built the Bristol Siddeley Orpheus for the Fiat G.91 programme, one of a number of examples of cooperation between the companies during the decade, and was the European distributor of the General Electric J85 and CJ610 turbojets. It was also involved, alongside FIAT, FN of Belgium and BMW, in the European production programme for the production of a FIAT (General Electric) J79-GE-11A turbojet to power the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter that was being built in Europe and was used extensively by many NATO air forces. no mention of de Havilland engines. Just a passing mention of FIAT making the Ghost in the early 50's in an article of the FIAT Turbina. FIAT G.80 was Goblin powered https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_G.80 Vampires were built by FIAT as well.

    Withdrawal?

Have been forced to pack up my whole hobby room due to a a dormer (?) being installed. With the precocious Dutch weather, the date was shifted three times, meaning I now have been separated from my stuff (and place) for nearly 5 weeks! Never thought I'd miss my mess so much! Just venting thanks for reading.
  7. I feel another order coming your way! Btw, why not provide fragile parts separately, I'm sure most of us remember how to glue stuff....😉
  8. Must be a.i. Garbage in Garbage out
  9. I was thinking more of the Eagle/Hornet mashup .
  10. The whole picture looks dark. Pretty much useless to make a decision on. Take a look at a bottle, and decide.
  11. Not sure what you mean? They included extra"s because they didn't use slide moulding? What WAS the reason they didn't?
  12. Not an original, but they state they build them to 'spec'. It shows frames and stuff, the CAD drawing shows the mounts. this doesn't look THAT close to the firewall.... https://ndmetal.co.uk/cobra-289/ https://www.robertforddesign.com/copy-of-collectibles https://www.gallery-aaldering.com/shelby-cobra-289-1963/ https://289shelbycobra.com/2020/09/06/the-engine-and-gearbox/ https://www.dkeng.co.uk/Vehicle_Archive/519/ac_cobra_289_mk_ii_roadster.html https://www.motortrend.com/news/rare-find-1965-shelby-289-cobra/ https://legendarymotorcar.com/inventory/1964-shelby-289-cobra-competition-2575.aspx
  13. there is this.... https://air-graphics.uk/shop/ols/products/agk-001-boeing-p-8-poseidon-mra1-kit
  14. I think I need a lie down........ why only that set though, the rest of the B-1 stuff seems more normally priced..... And ordering from Ukraine it's about half.....
  15. it is a 'new' product, but I'll await judgement by the mods.

    Tecnikit?

https://www.tecnikit.com/catalog/ What makes their stuff so special? (or what do they think does?) An engine set for the Tamiya He 219, yours for the princely sum of E 122,- To me it doesn't look any more detailed than, say an Aires set, and a good deal less good than a Reskit set. Anybody ever taken the plunge?
  17. agree, the Meng seems a bit 'diecast(ish)' in places
  18. blind man here, spotted no.7! actually missed the one left of centreline....🫣
  19. With regards to painting the interior, Miniart are pretty good with their research, so the instructions should be fine. There were rules and regulations (and changes) with regards to interior colours, so a check if they jive with what Miniart says is always a good idea. found this: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/missinglynx/stug-iiig-interior-colours-t50286.html
  20. Would the breech even fit the turret? What about the loading problem? The 10.5 used two part ammo didn't it? What problem were they trying to solve, this goes for a lot of German designs (and reeks of 'keeping busy' so I don't have to go to the front)
  21. I only see six? 2 wing, 2 fuselage, 2 wing the fuselage side by side arrangement looks a bit close.....
  22. If price is your only guide....🤷🏾‍♂️
  23. that's just OEM pricing, and me linking to a random 0.3mm drill UK seller here: https://www.performacut.co.uk/hss-drill-bits/hss-jobber-drill-bits/phantom-psd-hss-jobber-drill-118-0-2mm-to-20mm-11450?returnurl=%2fsearch%3fq%3d0.3mm
