  1. https://modelingmadness.com/splfeat/kr/has48e.htm Has all the info on kits, sprues, etc.
  2. Depends on era. Falklands I think yes. The CAT4 antennae are for after Falklands versions I think. Maybe @Pajarito knows?
  3. Can the tire be moved over the rim? Is the tire size even correct?
  4. A 1976 M23 would be my first (second really, there is a muletto in the stash somewhere) Pocher kit. I would be ALL over it!
  5. I was channeling my inner Anne Robinson...😉
  6. Why, oh why, oh why do they keep pumping out A-4Ms? It's the only type easy to fid, and the kit doesn't contain alternative fin tips....🤬
  7. Just had a brainfart.... Bear with me... Could someone with the Airfix Hurricane and the Arma Hurricane photograph the wing fillet area on both kits, to illustrate what Airfix got wrong? Assuming the area is the same on a I and a II .
  8. Actually I read somewhere that they added fluo red to make the colours pop for tv. I tried this with automotive paint, and guess what? It worked!
  9. Are these available anywhere? Complete, partial, free or at a cost?
  10. This pic also shows they were in regular Yellow-Green-Red /Brown camo. I have the Takom kit, and if I ever finish it, I'll whitewash the green bits, as that makes more sense.
  11. You could always 'cut'n'shut' a Quinta set to match a layout.
  12. Except for the movies, I never understood the attraction of these cars. Technically and aesthetically they're a mess. As if the designers (including Chapman) didn't want to make a good car, and just had various parts bins to play with..
  13. What material are the tires? Styrene I would just mask and paint. (Wouldn't use a pure black for the tires though) Vinyl....I would run away screaming!!! Though there might be special Vinyl paints that would work.
  14. I like the callback to the prototype, but dont understand the 'triangular' camo bit. It looks like s smudge. Maybe Syhart will do a set? (If there isn't a IP problem)
  15. Yeah, in cold climates people still do, the same way. Just cover up the rad a bit. I'm guessing the Tyrrell rads were sized for places like SA, AR, etc with higher ambient temps.
  16. Didn't Special Hobby pick up their moulds? I wish somebody would do a modern kit of this.
  17. I think that was a cover made of cardboard and tape. though it wasn't particularly cold...
  18. Drivingup to the catapult? That would explain an open canopy and possibly spread wings. Not sure if they would have the flaps out already.... Must be a video on YT somewhere.. canopy closed it seems (engine running?), flaps out (ish) en canopy, no flaps..down I think it could be possible, wing sweep seems dependent on 'maneuvering room' on deck before the cat.
  19. Been thinking the same for different projects.......meds or not! I was thinking of engraving a jig in some scrap aluminium with my mill, using a ball end mill. so I can use my rsd for the soldering. The jig could also be used for 'fishmouthing' the tubing I guess. Then I found out there are small spotwelders available, which would give some interesting options (spotwelded skin anyone?) time for my meds again.....😉
  20. Isn't the first pic a different aircraft? The camouflage spots don't match up with the other two.
  21. I have about 4 Heller/Union kits. very good shapewise, but will need some finetuning for specific cars. think long and hard about doing the suspension, as 'fragile' is putting it mildly! Somebody with CAD skills should do a replacement unit, showing the whole front frame. (maybe add in the details under the front bonnet too?) maybe some vacform bodywork.....🤔, bonded to a brass soldered frame..... Time for my meds again I guess.......🫣
