1/48 Mig-21 MF Viet Nam AirForce (In museum)
TuanNA replied to TuanNA's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Thank you for your praise!! There are many copies of this aircraft in museums in Vietnam, And the one you are seeing in the picture is the original on display in Ha Noi -
Hello everyone Today I would like to introduce to you one of our national treasures The MiG 21 F96-number 5121 was one of the first fighters of the Vietnamese People's Air Force, participating in the air defense campaign to defeat the US B52 strategic ambush on Hanoi and Hai Phong. and some other localities in the North in December 1972 . It shot down 05 American aircraft, including 01 B52 aircraft flown by pilot Pham Tuan on the night of December 27, 1972. At the command post, on the bright screen, the image of the US B52 "Super Flying Fortress" was recorded on fire. Despite the lack of long-range radar and fewer missiles than the US multi-role fighters of the same time, in the hands of Vietnamese pilots, with an innovative way of fighting, the MIG21 made a miracle. Up to 50 countries have been using MIG21, but at that time, only the Vietnam Air Force used MIG1 to attack and shoot down B52 directly. at 1/48 scale, the academy does this pretty well Thanks for watching!
