Thanks everybody. I'll try the AK masking putty if I can't find any plain Silly Putty in local shops.

Thoroughly recommended (by me) - even though the word 'modelling' doesn't appear at all.

I have tried Copydex but its a bit too tacky for me. Blu-tac is good for feathered edges but I want something for a hard edge (i.e WWII/Cold War RAF despite what some modellers seem to think)Thanks

Oh you really don't want to do that 😁 it's a great kit don't get me wrong, but Flyhawk have realy jumped off the deep end with over-engineering it. So many tiny ammo boxes and other deck details as separate parts... 😵
But I love that sort of thing... (and its probably designed around PE substitution, right?)

Superb, she looks just right - the paint job is just perfect, catches that TOS look whilst looking 'real'. I've never seen such good collectors on an Enterprise. Scotty would be - well, grudgingly complimentary maybe!

That's a beauty and not easy to do. I must not buy one. Or two.

Cant see any faults from here! Superb. Wish I had the room and courage.

Superb work, two real beauties. Just reading the build thread and the Trials of Roden Building.
I'm building a Roden Albatros W4 and guess what, the wings just fell off despite being pinned and glued with CA. Since its an Albatros, notoriously prone to such behaviour in real life, I'm putting it down to some sort of law of the universe.

Got this one in the stash and could never make up my mind which scheme. This does not help! Somehow the solid grey top surface accentuates the smooth lines and those stripes....
Beautiful build, sensible weathering, all round superb

Beautiful build of an old kit. Not sure the nose art is quite what Coleridge had in mind though 😉

Splendid stuff. Can't help but think of the Armstrong and Miller RAF pilots:
"Yes blood. Its made of wood and glue and s**t, coz the designer had a certificate that got him out of metalwork. Standard."- 1

I hate masking, especially camo. This sounds worth a go - is there a UK supplier?

Beautiful Viggen. Hopefully you can get some new doors?

Ooooh that is a beauty.
BTW you've left the ejection seats out - or have I misunderstood that instruction? 😉- 1

Very nice - I can appreciate it all the more as I'm currently doing battle with a pair of its 1/72 brethren

100% 1970s awesomeness with Italian soundtrack (eh?). Hope its OK to post here

I've suddenly realised I need a Canberra in the stash

Superb and very nicely painted - worn but restrained. A suggestion for next time is build the masts out of brass rods - its fiddly but worth a try.

Superb. Nice to see realistic weathering for a change!

What did you use for the wash?

Disappointed to see Zathras isn't in it, but at least Zathras has been included.

A lot better than my old Airfix effort. Being Arma Hobby I assume the kit was breathtakingly good?

Very nice. The squiggles look suitably squiggley and the colours appropriate. What is the bomb?

Look at that thing. The Draken tends to get overlooked in the most beautiful plane of all time stakes, but its up there. Superb build.

Superb, and no need for more weathering, she has been cleaned up for inspection. I agree with Bertie, my one critical thought was its not too late to fill out that flag locker.

Beautiful. That kit so needs a re-tool
