Try looking online for images from the Wasa museum - it's superb and only one of Stockholm's many fantastic museums. There's a large scale model of Wasa at the museum as launched, so it shows the original painting (as near as can be figured out), and there are colour reproductions of many of the statues.
and yes, looking at the real thing you can see she was doomed from the start, far too narrow in the beam.

Beautiful build. One thing - it may be the camera lens but it looks like the rigging is pulling the foremast backwards and off the tripod? A dab of superglue hopefully will fix that. I had a ship rigged for a year or two until suddenly ping and the foremast flew to pieces

Oh yes, check out the Latécoère 631 on Hush-Kit: https://hushkit.net/2022/03/20/fantastique-french-airliners-of-the-1940s/
Has anybody done a Sud-Est SE.200 Amphitrite? Swastikas will help it sell (sadly). 1/144 might be a better scale though.

Superb - and shows how big the Hustler is. I saw the Blackbird at Farnborough in 1987 (I think) and it still looked like something from another planet.

Is this kit better than the Sword? Asking for a friend
Thanks

Thanks John W.
Well guys here's the pilot, with what I thought was a small dog which turns out to be (after looking closely at the box) a grey and white cat!
I'll sort out some staged photo's tomorrow with plane and pilot.
I think the dog flew the plane? (curse you Red Baron!)

Lovely. I think my earliest memory is looking at the window of one of these - maybe even this one - as it flew into Guernsey. I would have been just over three years old

I remember the Matchbox very fondly as the first kit I manged to finish properly (paint etc). I don't remember ever seeing an Airfix one - what was the box art like?
Nice work!

My two cents - I think the scout schemes are perfect for, well scouting and recon. But the AT-AT is more about intimidation than pure military practicality - so is camo appropriate? Love the splinter schemes though, they would make sense in a high-threat environment.

How about turning the high-tail "V" upside down too? You might get an Angel Interceptor to dock onto it and refuel that way. So that's one Victor, three Angel Interceptors, one Thunderbird Two, bespoke Captain Scarlet decals..............it's adding up!
Cap-tain Scar-let, dun, dun, dun, du dudda dum........
Turn the tail into a true V-tail, it will look great. Might be a bit small though - extend the roots, or how about slap on another pair of Conways a la TU-22?

Great idea - Surprised nobody has done a commercial one. I guess the high-tec way would be to figure out how to convert the projections and apply them. But Valinor should be separate somehow...

Why do terrible airplanes make the best models? Beautiful work.

Very nice! Looks great in that scheme.
But surely we would have (perhaps should have) bought the F-15?
But the F-15 couldn't have flown from the RN's two supercarriers (cough).

Shot in Croatia - there's a very nicely done set of You Tube videos showing the locations than and now. Here's the first:

Superb - are you Moa? Or another of his brotherhood at least. I can think of no greater praise.

Very nice, looking forward to a silver one (yours and mine). Imperial operated these for a decade without a single fatality, the crabs got them and wrecked the lot in six months.

Hopefully it's not too late but the kit turrets are too shallow, they need to be made higher. Gluing a sheet of plastic card to the roof does the trick nicely. AOTS Belfast shows their proportions correctly.
TBH there's lots of other minor issues and the WEM PE isn't 100% right either, watch out for the rear superstructure ladders and check AOTS. But its a great fun build.-

Great work. It might be a bit late now, but a trick with those well-known bookshelves (other brands are available) is to paint, or even better wallpaper the back wall - there's a Sanderson (other brands are available) watercolour sky style paper that looks great with ships and aircraft.

Superb. All us lucky souls who have built Roden know what an achievement this is!

Airfix decals - I use Microsol and then lots of Microset to get the decal down, then hit it with Dago Products strong decal solution where it needs extra work. The secret is not to panic if the Future starts to melt.

I flew two of these and didn't crash either of them! Unlike my cars. More things to hit, that's my excuse.

Beautiful camo scheme - if I ever get round to this kit that might get borrowed (the sincerest form of flattery)
