    Hi J-W, Oh dear ! One for the aftermarket guys I think, just a bit of shame, however I shall still go with the kit as it's the only IM plastic one available. Could the gentleman be referring to the 'block' on the fuselage where the wing fits onto ? That's all I can think of ? And I am still looking forward to getting this kit. Best regards Colin.

    Hi J-W, Thank you for posting the profiles of the Renard R.31 and the in the box profile, that will please me very much, I think this aircraft is just a stunning and elegant, I applaud Frrom Azur for their choice. I hope we can persuade them to produce the Fairey Fox in 1/72 as well. I know their is a resin kit of the Fairey Fox from Omega Resins but, unluckily for me I don't have a very good success rate with full resin kits. Also grateful thanks to Homebee for posting details of Avions series of books we need for this model, my school boy French will be needed ! ATB Colin.

    Hi Homebee, Thank you for your updates to my original post on this subject. I am delighted to see this kit and will be ordering a couple for sure. I hope Frrom Azur go on to do 1/72 Fairey Foxes that we need to complete our Belgian Air Force collections. ATB Colin.

    A lovely build Sir Will tempt me into building my kit, I purchased the issue thru the Airfix kit starter last year ? As the prices on ebay were a little high for me. Regard Colin.

    I don't normally look at 1/48 scale kits as my passion is for 1/72 subjects, but, I am very glad I did ! This model looks superb and very different in Armada markings. My congratulations to you Sir ! Regards Colin.

    Hi Adey, This thread is just wonderful and I have enjoyed very much reading your and other posts on this subject, it's a trip back thru time and pleasant childhood memories. I once owned a FROG Herald with Malaysian decals mentioned above and it was a bagged item, I bought it at the Maidstone toy fair many years ago for about £18.00 if I remember correctly, later on I sold it on with a number of other kits from my stash, which grows and shrinks from time to time. I love the hobby very much and wish I still had that FROG Herald kit. Very best wishes to you all, Regards Colin.

    Hi Martin, Glad to hear and I look forward to seeing the MIG's in due course and thanks for the tip on the Humbrol 209. Not much modelling happening hear due to continued health problems, I will be starting a twin engine plane on tomorrow hopefullly. Regards Colin.

    What a colourful and beautifully finished model, makes such a difference seeing one in camo, you can see that the addition of the Pavla ejector seat has made that difference. My congratulations

    Hi Martin, An excellent and colourful addition to your collection, glad to see you still enjoy building Latin American subject I find that the Humbrol Metalcote pain range is good to use and has good coverage (I paint by brush) and you have had success with the Humbrol 209 to, I learn't you need a white undercoat and thin layers to achieve a good result like your build (again using a brush).
