    Belated Merry Christmas to all BM members and visitors. Model-making has had to take 2nd seat for a while as a houseg move is on the cards, but we've no idea when, so I don't want to get stuck into a 'long job' and then have to pack it all away!

    But I AM on time to wish everyone a happy and far better year ahead!

    Thought I'd change my avatar and confuse everyone for a while. lol. Artwork was a 'band mascot' called 'Hacker' designed and painted by me for a local heavy metal band back in the late 80's early 90's. He featured on all of their merchandise in many guises over the years. Here was a later appearance, as a 'Jack in the box' for a cassette album cover. Yes of course, he was Eddie's cousin.

    Only just noticed, but some days ago, my Ever Evolvin' Dio WIP surpassed 70,000 views. At least 50k of those were me I suspect lol.

      Hi Clive, and thanks. I won't bore you with the details, but I have had a worsening of my health issues and am probably going to end up medically retired and possibly registered as long-term unfit for work. I'm finding it increasingly hard to walk and I'm afraid it meant that I had to keep postponing my visit to the Tank Museum. In the end I had to admit that I wasn't going to make it. I was very upset about that to be honest, but I did give the ticket to a mate of a mate and he said he made good use of it.

    Hi Enzo,

    Apologies, but I did my usual thing of making it into the gallery for the Tiger GB with just a few minutes to spare. I was going to vote as soon as the poll was open, but I see that it isn't and my entry isn't yet included in the poll. I guess the poll won't start until you activate it and by then my entry will be included in the poll?

    Is that the case? I ask only because I've stayed up well past my beddytime to enter and get the first vote in! hehe.

    My ancient Aztec packed up. Hours of dis-assembly, cleaning, soaking, re-assembly, more cleaning, dis-assembly and poking with a stick, I gave up and sat the thing in almost pure bleach for 20mins. Hey presto! It's working again! Thank you Messrs Domestos!

    4hr wait to be seen at A&E, despite my symptoms being possibly very serious.

    Came straight home. If I die during the night I won't be happy.

      Hi mate,

      Was a bit of a worry to have a kip, wake up and find a great big red bruise on my face, bleeding beneath the skin about 2inches square. Looked like I had a huge strawberry birthmark. NHS helpline told me to get to A&E within the hour and that they'd be expecting me. Rushed there and got told 4hrs to be seen. Sod that, I went home. I figured if it was something like meningitis or scarlet fever I'd soon know about it and could phone 999. :think:

       

      Anyway, after 12hrs it seems to have faded a bit. I reckon it was a burst blood vessel. Got a cold at moment (I don't usually catch colds) so possibly the coughing, sneezing caused it to burst?

       

      So, looks like I'm not heading for the big diorama in the sky and I'll be continuing with this one!

    Went to my LHS store yesterday and absentmindedly walked straight past it. Where is it? I back tracked. No wonder.  Boarded up. Closed down. Owners 'retired' notice in the window. I first went there 40yrs ago, and it's had the same owners all that time. I've been popping in there very regularly now for nearly 2 years. Would have been nice to have had advanced warning.

      I don`t know...for me is new too. In other fórum. That was, if there were trophies of that style, but here is the first time I see it, and if you do not post it, not that .. maybe it is because of the avalanche (deservedly undoubtedly) of likes I gave you yesterday ... .
