  1. Thanks for the kind comments everyone! Making me very motivated to get this one built! It's a lovely kit so far! I do have one question however the seam along the rear fuselage spine is it a panel line or not? Thanks in advance Joss
  2. Right abit more progress on this I've got the cockpit painted up just needs the instrument panel. It's not perfect but judging by everyone else's not much will be visible! No pictures yet but I've got the engine together and added the fillets to the rear fuselage! More photos soon Cheers Joss

  6. Looking forward to see what you do with this tbolt! Especially with the vector resin. I've used their stuff on a corsair and it was very well detailed! All the best Joss

  11. Hi guys going to build a 1/48 tamiya bubbletop. Meant to be a nice kit was tempted with Eduard photoset have but don't fancy splashing out plus all the kit detail looks top notch. Have bought some amdg decals which are in the post. Going to build this one, (I just posted the link for the image so hope I'm upsetting anyone copyright wise) I like colour scheme as it's OD over NMF with the upper wing invasion stripes painted over. So should be good fun with weathering. There's also a shark mouthed razorback on the sheet so maybe another later... Look forwards to starting Joss
  12. She looks a stunner, love the paint job and the finish. What did you use for the finish? it looks spot on to my eye! Best regards Joss
  13. Brilliant thanks for the extra photos you can really see what you've added. I tried to build the tamiya raiden but it was so basic i gave up in the end. The hasegawa kit seems a lot better by the looks of your model and your skills take it to the next level! It is a pain when companies do that I suppose it's more money for them... Best regards Joss
  14. Brilliant model! I really like the cockpit details, you must be very happy with it.
  15. Cool thanks Stix dont tempt me if I find one for a defend price I'll go for it cheers joss
  16. Hello @PlaStix, I've out my name down for this build but have a question I've acquired this kit https://www.scalemates.com/kits/622519-dragon-6736-pz-kpfw-iv-ausf-d-w-5cm-kwk-l-60 . With out realising it's a one off panzer for testing a different gun. Basically the question is it eligible for this GB? Or will I have to choose something else? ( Do fancy doing a dak panzer) All the best Joss
  17. Thanks! Glad to get her done and I did enjoy it! Looking forward to the other tank GBs now! All the best Joss Thanks sarge! It looks ok in the photos but I know not to use that acrylic gel! Just learnt the hard way, haha! There is something about the hvss thats pleasing to look at as you just just meaty and just looks like a bit of a brute! Thanks for hosting this GB and all the best Joss
  18. Cheers Stix, much appreciated I enjoyed building here but still think I have a long way to go! I'm currently building an m5a1 to test and expand on new techniques! (I've got the bug now haven't i?!) All the best Joss

  22. Thanks stix, thats a good idea. I'll post some photos later to give some idea. It looked good when it was wet but has dried and looks really out of scale... Joss
  23. Just before finishing I had a daft idea to use arcylic texture gel to try make thick mud put it on and it doesn't look very good at all. I've washed most of it off but some has set hard not , so I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be welcome! Tempted to just leave it at that and add her to the shelf now as she is more or less done. Not happy but might chalk it up to experience... Regards Joss
  24. The figures look super stix. Looking forward to seeing it all together! Joss
