  1. Another expert who makes plastic models look like a full size aircraft, the exhaust stains stand out.
  2. Wonderful mastery of painting building and weathering, looks like a real aircraft.
  3. Like the Spitfire Vb you have shown us already, this looks fantastic and I agree with your colour interpretation rather than the in box scheme. I believe you used the last batches of the Hunbrol 157 that had the correct shade it looks fantastic. What colour did you use for the foliage Green? Weathering looks jut right not too little not too much. Decals look very good too. Well done. These are the schemes I would choose from this box as well as I love Australian WW2 planes and the other choice the pilot came from where I went to school.
  4. The recent Humbrol 157 seems to capture the correct shade with a slight purple hue compared to the RAF museum book. Did you use the new acrylic version or the last of the Enamel tins? Also the Red spinner seems perfect as often it looks too light compared with the real photos of RAF Desert spitfires you can see in the Imperial War Museum collection. What colour did you use for the Red?? I think that your model looks fantastic. The underside looks brilliant.
  5. I ordered from Hannants sent yesterday and arrived in Hampshire before 10 this morning. To get here from the Ukraine then get delivered on time with post strikes too mine came by Royal Mail Parcelforce too!
  6. If you have pre ordered from Airfix already, in their Facebook post it says you will also get the poster.
  7. The colours look perfect. I think the ILS aerial on the fin was not fitted to FAA FG1 when in service. If I am correct the Italeri instructions are incorrect See https://www.tumbex.com/militaryaviation.tumblr/post/156588254721
  8. The first weekend edition Mk 1 is out under £19 at Hannants less elsewhere so if you can use the decals or are going to use masks, much less than Airfix or Tamiya now See Eduard's description below https://www.eduard.com/eduard/plastic-kits/spitfire-mk-ia-1-48-1.html
  9. I was thinking about the exhaust as I have them and the kit. There are 2 versions of the fuselage the original has shallow auxiliary air doors the Aires exhausts will fit this one, the newer boxings have deeper ones, try the Reskit ones they look shorter and the tubes are less diameter and there are versions for Fujimi Reskit RSU72-0112 and Airfix
  10. Top Notch do similar masks B pattern in stock https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/TNM48-M051?result-token=l9F9C
  11. This link shows your kit being built the Spitfire xiv propellor, on the Fujimi version has a small circle near the bas that goes in to the base. Or get a quickboost Spitfire XiV propellor for Academy it has a Jig. The blades are angled with the rear to the left the opposite to a merlin spitfire http://www.spitfireperformance.com/spit14v109.html
