  1. It was a really nice kit, went together well. Definitely one i wouldn't mind doing again.
  2. This is my recently finished 1:24 Red Tails Spitfire Vb. Something a bit different
  3. I don't know a lot about the specifics, i just grabbed a few pics online and just built it to what i thought looked good. I do have the etch cranes but i've never used that before so i wasn't sure if i wanted to use it or not on this. I can certainly change it though. Also the etch railings i do want as well as the brass gun barrels but money as always is the issue which is why i never got it. I should have the rigging done in the coming week and when we get some good weather i'll take it outside and get some better pics in natural light. Thanks for the input though guys
  4. I looked at a few pictures and the main gun barrels are lighter than the hull colour. The smaller guns i wanted to stand out a bit more, same for the boats behind the cranes. I tried to contrast colours but not go too overboard. This is the main image i used for reference.
  5. Hey guys. I thought i'd share my latest build with you all. It's the legendary HMS Warspite in 1:350 scale from Academy. It's in the WIP section because i am still waiting for parts to do the rigging and i am unsure whether i want to add any rust effects to the ship. So what do you think??? Comments and constructive criticism welcome.
  6. Hey guys. I figured i'd post my Galactica and Viper Mk II, both are battle damaged. These were finished around christmas time and i haven't really posted the pics anywhere. What do you think??? They were the first battle damaged models i ever attempted. Ignore the date on the camera, also the canopy for the Viper is now looking a bit better that in the pics.
