  1. Unbelievable work once again. I'm still very much in love with this model.
  2. Progressing very fast indeed Dan. I'm still absolutely in love with this project!
  3. The project is not dead. Unfortunately I did have a death in the family which took priority over othee things. I am also feeling a little stuck and I'm not all too happy with the work I've done until now (in hindsight). So what do you do when you run low on motivation? Mock up some things to see how it looks!
  4. Gutentag herr Brot and good luck!
  5. I just read through all of this and it really got me interested in doing something similar. I really hope you will update your TR build in the future.
  6. Are you planning on making the body panels removable so you can showcase what's under them? Or is it more of a case of you knowing the parts are there, under the skin?
  7. Great work on those hinges! Those triangular shapes on the bottom act as a bump stop for the bonnet I imagine. Looking forward to seeing the rest.
  8. I'm loving this Dan. Wonderful work once again!
  9. Looks very good indeed. Looking forward to seeing more!
  10. Hello again my friend. Unfortunately I have had no luck so far but I will give it another shot when I'm home again. I'm at least 100% sure it's not going to be a Pocher Testarossa because I feel like it wouldn't really be worth my while. I have still got a massive crush on the Bugatti T50, which is just gorgeous. However, having said that, that Rolls Royce Torpedo has a massive pull as well with all its beautiful chrome bodywork..... Only time will tell what I'll end up doing, I have a few out of the box ideas floating around as well!
  11. You should definitely ask @activexp!
  12. What's wrong with Bburago Jo?
  13. Love that little truck. Wonderful work! How did you find the Bedford? Was it a nice kit to build?
  14. Hello and thanks for your contribution! Actually as per the factory the frames had numerous holes that were blocked off, apparently this still saved some weight.... How about this one?
  15. That is some nice work once again. Unbelievable eye for detail sir. I got myself a pair of faux leather trousers and cut those up for some really nice and fine "leather" to work with.
  16. I'm in love Dan. Wonderful work! How did you make the drum? Did you turn it?
  17. Both sides are now done. Fairly happy with how it turned out!
  18. Amazing man, how you managed to scale that red one up to 1:1 and then parked it next to an actual tractor. Don't know many people who would be capable of that! Stunning work man. Unbelievable quality, if I were only half as good as you that would really help me out tremendously.
  19. This is really nice Andy! Wonderful work!
  20. So I was mucking about and got absolutely nothing done this morning. All of a sudden I had a brainwave to fix the problems with the incredibly clunky look of the standard suspension. I bent a bit of rod into roughly the right shape, drilled some holes and did some filing. It's all a little rough but it'll work for now. I also made the link arm that would normally connect the leaf springs to the friction shock absorber (I don't know what the correct technical term for this contraption ). Despite it being quite rough I do feel like it is miles better than the huge jointed standard suspension: To the keen observer: Yes, the front of the other model is hacked off. I have started to remove ALL the moulded on details. I plan to make the second car as accurate as I can get it. The light blue one is basically my testbed.
  21. This is one of those cases where the subject at hand doesn't float my boat. However your incredible workmanship makes me come back for more every time. Great work Olivier, very inspirational!
  22. Very nice Dan. That rear axle and all the bits and bobs are making me drool a little. I'm a fan!!
