  1. Cheer all for the interest in this little build, have made the exhaust or shoulder yet but did get most of the base colours finished.
  2. My daughter has requested I paint this like its from The Arcane Netflix show, so this is my first go at free hand graffiti.
  3. They are for the rear light but now you've said..... cheers Pete.
  4. Replaced an arm with a very Ma.k looking flame gun and a very Borg looking eye piece and replaced the feet for something more aggressive looking. And then a few bits and just about ready for some primer. I do think he needs some Ma.k looking shoulder pads adding, like fireball or Mk 5's.
  5. Picked these up a few months ago as a fun build and did start it with my youngest but she lost interest as it a bit small and fiddle. So I'm going to have ago at a cyberpunk paint job and because I like to I added a few small extra parts. As standard kits these are cute pop belly kids transport mecha, you get 2 in the box and 2 figures as well. Here he is out the box apart from me cutting the back section out. Thats the box art. And then went on to kit bash a shoulder gun and the mount for the gun, then added the engine upgrade.
  6. That is really very nice. Really like the use of high lights on the skin.
  7. They are not the best pictures and the skin is a lot more satin and the hoodie is very matt is the real. Cheers for you comments. Brian
  8. Hi Will , I have meaning to ask if you have see one of the sororitas Battle sisters. I think I need to get one if they are a nice kit, just the floppy vinyl puts me off a little.
  9. Thank you. Thank you. Cheers mate, I was once told that if you use the same colour in a few different places in a picture it help bring it all together, hence the Blue water cloth and trousers. Well Bertie, I'm not quite sure how to respond to that apart from thank you so much and I will answer a few points. The tree is left twisted to give it a fantasy look and thats about a deep as I go😊 but I love your comments about it. The river reeds are the same copper wire as the tree just hammered flat and bent into shape. The resin was cast into he lid of a cotton wool buds tub, the base was probably the only thing I planned out at the start. Used black as I was thinking of burnt wood charcoal effect. Wish I had thought about putting stripes on the ginger cat, I thinks it possible I just didn't think it, that's was a great idea. Here are my bad points of the fished piece that I will remember for next time. I wanted to boat to be a little more central, the fish in the water has also tilted at an odd angle, thanks to @Hunter Rose for the tip on how to fix this. I don't think the hair is well defined enough and I maybe should have added more shadow around the edges of the hair line and now Bertie has mentioned it I wish have striped the cats fur. I might even go back and try a tripe or two with a burnt umber wash. Other than that I'm happy with it and really appreciate the comments. Thanks Brian
  10. Cheers for all the interest in the WIP thread. Finished my little 3d print from YT Goobertown Hobbies in 55mm scale. Comment's on how to improve for next time are always welcome. Cheers Brian.
  11. Cheers Pete. All finished now ready to move it to RFI.
  12. Built the base today, finished the tree and have started to add a bit of a bow wave. Once the player I'd dry I will add a little white paint.
  13. Removed the plastic container and I'm happy with the look, I think I should have added a bit of green to the water but this will do. Made a start on the green as well.
  14. I should have thought of that....cheers. I hope the plastic lids comes off the resin next but it's going to be another day before I try pulling it off.
  15. You might think so but I find it harder sometimes, you have a cracking batch of figures to make a start on.
  16. Cheers for the interest everyone. Made a bit of progress with this, first added a fee pebbles from the garden, made a plastic fish and filling the base with resin. It wasn't quite set enough to hold the boat so I had to support it, and it has moved out of centre now, but it's not to bad.
  17. Trying out some motolow chrome through the airbrush. I'm resorting a mask truck for friend. You have to spay a thick layer to get a chrome finish but it looks great. It will need a gloss coat as it dulls with handling even with gloves on. I tried buff with a soft polishing cloth but that didn't work. You can see in the pictures, I will gloss this with Alclad gloss and see what it looks like.
  18. Just check and it is him, free file on his channel. Not sure this allowed so it might get taken down.
  19. No I'm not that's complicated....just a simple model builder.
  20. Have you tried looking up how to on YouTube. How to paint GK kits or something like that? Until you get to skin it's all the same anyway.....😀
